How to Get There
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our first stay in Dubai. Check in was quick and professionally done some of our documentation wasn't ready but we were able to collect the following morning.
The bedrooms were large and had two bathrooms which we have never had before. Yes this hotel is a little out of Dubai but there was a great taxi service from the hotel which only took about 10-20 minutes to get to the centre depending where you wanted to go.
All the restaurants were amazing with exceptional food and service.
The Riva beach club to which the hotel supplied a shuttle bus was amazing the sunbeds do need a little care but on the whole it was excellent.
Around the hotel pool which is on the 8th floor was only small and it did need more sunbeds and especially brolleys. The pool at times was taken over by kids they seemed to enjoy it better than there own kiddy section.
On a whole would we visit this hotel again definately. The staff were amazing and a credit to the hotel group.
Rooms are large, clean and staff is very accommodating. The breakfast is good, but the dining room tends to get crowded later in the morning...arrive early. Loved the bar on the ground floor, especially the section that is outside. If you like swimming, the hotel pool is great for lap swimming.
Mostafa welcomed us to the hotel with dates and Arabic coffee. It really tasty. Good job Mostafa.
As for the room they need to fix the air conditioning. The room was hot. Staff was helpful and room was clean. Bed is comfortable.
vacation in summer in Dubai? it´s very hot, but the rooms/busses/hotel are climated; we booked via secret escapes and we had nothing to compain about like Christine done it before. nice personal, clean room, very good food, nice beach Club
I am currently staying in this hotel and can safely say that my experience is not the same as many of the others. Trip was booked via secret escapes which may explain why we have been put in a dark, dingy and quite frankly not very clean room. When checking in we were told that there was a suite available that we would find more comfortable. This of course would come at a cost and, as we had already booked an executive room under the guise of it being one of the more superior rooms on offer by the hotel, I did not feel that this was necessary for my daughter and I. The wash hand basin in the bathroom was not clean, the in room literature had been drawn all over by a child and the one small window (which offers no light) had a child’s sticky hand prints on it. This is still yet to be cleaned. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels across the world and do not believe this hotel is worthy of that accolade. What is yet more disappointing is that this extremely large hotel is far from busy, so I can see no reason for the poor standards of cleanliness and upkeep of the room. The one saving grace is the rooftop pool which is beautiful, well maintained and staffed by friendly staff.
We will be staying at the new Caesars Bluewaters Resort from Sunday and it will be interesting to note the differences.
