How to Get There
We arrived early in the morning and our room was available. This is almost unheard of these days so I want to thank the hotel for this as we had been flying form14 hours. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great and it had a wonderful shower. Breakfast buffet was included in our rate and it was terrific. A huge selection ranging from local to western menus. There is a mall right across the street which has all the usual stores, cafes and fast food and a very good supermarket. The train station is about 500m walk from the hotel. We had dinner in one of the hotel restaurants which had a Mexican theme that night. It was good but expensive. In fact, we found most things expensive in Dubai. Overall, we would go back but tour operators always commented on how far away it was and if you get a taxi from the airport, it would be expensive. We organised a driver to pick us up from the airport which worked out well. We were there in February and the temperature was in the low 20s.
If you are looking for a child friendly brunch which isn't too silly financially, this is for you. Great musical entertainment, a children's buffet room, a large children's play/activity room, a bounce castle plus the usual choices of food and beverages all served exceptionally well. They dont have a cheese section, they have a cheese room...!!! Recommend this one if you have young children but make sure you book a table near the children's area.
Very good service, we feel Home in The hotel!!!! The food is made with love! It taste so good! It is so beautiful inside and outside!!! You must have been there!
Thanks to our kind man Mustafa who gave us a very good tasting coffe :)
We were greeted by Diane at reception after a gruelling 14 hour flight. She was a welcome sunny face. The staff were all very lovely and attentive. The food choices are excellent including room service which we ordered twice. A wonderful atmospheric hotel transporting you a world away from home. Definitely recommend it to travellers as excellent value for money.
This is a great hotel. Location is a bit out of hand in Dubai and if you get really lucky you’ll get a room with a view for... a power plant. This been said, the staff is really helpful (as they usually are in Dubai, generally) and the breakfast is OUT OF THIS WORLD. You have around half a dozen tables with the usual stuff (fruits, cereals, bread and cakes, pancakes and waffles, cheese, dry fruits and hot plates) and a huge “live kitchen” where you can have the fancy stuff.
The rooms are great, with two bathrooms, a confy bed and the usual complimentaries.
The déco is typical Arab style as it is inspired in explorer Ibn Batuta.
And this is pretty much all I can say as I just spent a few hours there.
