The 381 guestrooms and suites start at an impressive 517 square feet and feature contemporary decor (sage and tangerine throw pillows, decorative wooden headboards) infused with Arabic touches. The accommodations come with all the niceties you’d expect at a modern hotel (40-inch TVs, marble bathrooms with separate tubs and rainfall showers, Nespresso coffee machines and plush robes), plus balconies with jaw-on-the-floor views of the Persian Gulf, the Dubai Marina skyline and gardens. Splurge on a Fairmont Gold room and experience such cushy extras as butler service, free breakfast and daily afternoon cocktail hour. Retreat to the 17,200-square-foot holistic spa for a massage in one of the 13 treatment rooms, go for a dip in one of the four swimming pools, or have light fare and beverages delivered to your beach lounger. Several restaurants and lounges offer a range of dining and entertainment choices, including Frevo, a Brazilian restaurant, a cigar bar and Seagrill on 25° Restaurant and Lounge, which serves Mediterranean seafood such as grilled squid stuffed with crab, tomato and feta — along with breathtaking views.
In the Area
The Fairmont the Palm is located near the Dubai Marina, known for alfresco dining along the Jumeirah Walk and a public beach. For truly incredible views, guests can visit the observation tower at the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, which soars 2,716 feet above the city. Another unique attraction is Dubai’s indoor snow park for skiing and sledding in a temperature-maintained environment. Shoppers should explore the Mall of Arabia, one of the largest shopping hubs in the world, complete with a dinosaur theme park. For a night out, stop by Vintage cheese and wine bar or try Mint Leaf for a chic dining experience and a fashionable lounge atmosphere.
How to Get There
I was here with family for my son's birthday weekend (15th - 19th aug )and wooow what a choice we made . The stay here was superb from checking in to checking out everything was smooth . We opted for fairmont gold room which have access to executive lounge and this was by far the best executive lounge , from drinks menu to food everything was so yummy . I can't thank enough to SUBHASH who was fairmont gold butler there who surprised my son with cake and some cute decor in the room . Every staff in executive lounge was very caring and always ready to help us . There breakfast in FLOW restaurent was also great , they have arrangement in executive lounge for gold rooms , though it does not have huge variety for breakfast but it was very good for us . There access to beach us closed right now for some construction but they have made arrangements with neighbour hotels .
All in all it was really a excellent stayacation for us . Highly recommended.
We stayed her for 2 weeks family of 5
We had 2 rooms,
amazing hotel stuff work so hard, and go above and beyond to help
Also friendly and very helpful,
We booked our excursions through the concierge desk.
Our youngest daughter also enjoyed the kids club, ( stuff where very good too) just a shame it’s complimentary for 2 hours a day,
I also used spa and had a lovely massage
Yes construction is going on but did not spoil our holiday
(And this is down to government not the hotel fault )
Once completed I’m sure it will be nice,
Food was always amazing we ate a lot in flow kitchen, (we had half board)as children had more off a choice
The only downfall was having to pay for water, which you get in your room, then pool side
I’m sure if water was free whilst dinning, then guest wouldn’t mind paying out for fizzy drinks or wine and beer
For us as a family of 5 over the 2 weeks did cost a lot,
We would love to return next year as we differently enjoyed our stay, At Fairmont this was our first visit to Dubai what great memories we made....
As a family we stopped in the fairmont in August 2019. Building on the new boardwalk was taking place. We were aware of this.
The food at the hotel is first rate. We stayed half board. Breakfast and a choice of either lunch or evening meal were our options. Some points. Make sure you try lunch on a Friday. Whoever makes the beef stew. Amazing. The blueberry cheescake was also excellent. One thing to note is the drinks are not included. So water, you have to pay for at lunch or dinner. One thing that was annoying were some guests brought in their own water, thus bypassing paying for the water. We did highlight this to the hotel.
The rooms are very spacious and clean and the beds are also very comfortable.
The pool area was also very clean and nice. The works though did shut the beach area and also made getting into the pools from the stairs not an option as they were closed off. you had to jump in and out.
overall a great visit, a few things that could be improved but overall well worth a visit.
The speed boat trip we did was exellent
