Overview

Ultra-modern high-rise with futuristic rooms, a mammoth spa and a choice of 11 restaurants, bars and entertainment venues

The Lowdown

Fairmont Dubai may have been the brand’s first international location over a decade ago, but thanks to a recent $9.5-million revamp the hotel is as fresh as the day it opened. The 394 rooms, including 128 suites and penthouses feature polished granite floors, Le Labo bath amenities and interactive TVs, not to mention panoramic views of the city skyline or the Arabian Gulf. It might take a week to experience all of the Fairmont’s dining and entertainment options. If you don’t have that long, we’d choose an alfresco Turkish-inspired meal at Dokuz followed by one of the 350 wines at Cin Cin wine bar and a late night romp at Cirque Le Soir, where international DJs spin for fire swallowers, snake charmers and burlesque dancers. Recover from your night out in style with a visit to the Romanesque spa, where separate male and female sections contain Jacuzzis, steams rooms, ice showers and foot baths.

In the Area

Smart fashionistas know to seek out one-of-a-kind finds at Dubai’s independent boutiques like S*uce, where up-and-coming designers hang alongside Alexander Wang and Tata Naka; Symphony, which mixes luxury designer threads and accessories with rare books and magazines; and Boutique 1, one of the first to bring high fashion to the Emirates. Of course, not all shopping in Dubai carries a designer label; wander through the Gold Souk to shop for treasure or explore the nearby Spice Souk.

Holiday

Fairmont Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, fantastic location, for the amazing monorail, most of all, the staff were very accommodating, from the front desk, front door people who greeted us, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was of very good quality, and the staff, in the restaurant at breakfast time we were greeted daily by two young ladies, who, incidentally, remembered our names, a very nice touch, thank you for that. The chef, to the waiters and waitresses, again were on hand for our pleasure within the restaurant. They were very attentive every morning. The Trophy Room was a comfortable room to relax, they, once again, were all so very helpful, they also had a very pleasant manner. Our room, was very nice and kept to a very high standard, everyone made our holiday very special. Thank you everyone, you have made us all want to come back.

Excellent location and fantastic experience. Exactly what i would have expected from a 5 star hotel. The corner suite was first class and the view towards Burj Khalifa at night was very entertaining. We used most of the hotels facilities and found them to be first class - well recommended.

Booking and Price
Reviewed 7 days ago

The price was too expensive. We expect you a better price because we’re permanent customers and we chose this hotel as a house for all of our activities such as family trips, business trips and etc.
We have problem with booking your hotel and we cant book a room directly amd we have to book from travel agencies.
