Fairmont Dubai may have been the brand’s first international location over a decade ago, but thanks to a recent $9.5-million revamp the hotel is as fresh as the day it opened. The 394 rooms, including 128 suites and penthouses feature polished granite floors, Le Labo bath amenities and interactive TVs, not to mention panoramic views of the city skyline or the Arabian Gulf. It might take a week to experience all of the Fairmont’s dining and entertainment options. If you don’t have that long, we’d choose an alfresco Turkish-inspired meal at Dokuz followed by one of the 350 wines at Cin Cin wine bar and a late night romp at Cirque Le Soir, where international DJs spin for fire swallowers, snake charmers and burlesque dancers. Recover from your night out in style with a visit to the Romanesque spa, where separate male and female sections contain Jacuzzis, steams rooms, ice showers and foot baths.
In the Area
Smart fashionistas know to seek out one-of-a-kind finds at Dubai’s independent boutiques like S*uce, where up-and-coming designers hang alongside Alexander Wang and Tata Naka; Symphony, which mixes luxury designer threads and accessories with rare books and magazines; and Boutique 1, one of the first to bring high fashion to the Emirates. Of course, not all shopping in Dubai carries a designer label; wander through the Gold Souk to shop for treasure or explore the nearby Spice Souk.
How to Get There
how are you ?

why you didnt put in rooms slippers ?? if there is can be slippers is very good / and in toilets also if you can put specialy slippers for toilets it wil be better .
Fairmont Dubai is one of the best hotels I had stayed in. Rooms are clean, location is fantastic and the staff are helpful. The pool & GYM are fabulous. Special thanks to Mr. Jayson for being a nice person to me. He was always smiling, and willing to help whenever needed.
Location was perfect, 2 Minutes walk to the Metro Station. very friendly staff at the buffet restaurant. I got my room upgraded to a suit and also immediate check in.
House Keeping was very attentive and must mention about Nalinda who was always with a smile with all his hard work.
Checked in the hotel and commented that I was looking forward to watching the England Belgium World Cup match. I was told that the match was not screened in the rooms because of the cost to the hotel. I challenged them asking if they were not already charging enough for the room and was told that it is the low season - a very poor excuse. I was told that I could watch the match in a bar next to the lobby so I went to explore. The bar was a smoking bar and smelt like an ash tray. I went back to reception and asked where the no smoking bar was where I could watch the match. I was told that there was not one. I asked the two people dealing with me if. They would watch the match there and they both said no. Passive smoking is not an acceptable choice to make if you wanted to watch the football.
At this stage I asked to see someone from the hotel MAnagement and Miss Zulal Gul was asked to come. I went through the whole thing with Miss Gul and she was really understanding and very sorry. She clearly appreciated by perspective. She asked me to give her 20 minutes to see if a solution could be sought.
Within 20 minutes, she called my room to tell me that the appropriate channels had been added to my room allowing me to watch the England match, The World Cup final and the Wimbledon tennis. She also said she would send some complimentary snacks to the room.
Miss Gul changed what was going to be a very “ugly” Trip Advisor review to a very good one. Her understanding and creativity to find a solution were truly very much appreciated and she is a great credit to the hotel.
Thank you Miss Gul for going that extra mile and for sure the next time in Dubai I will again stay at your hotel.
