How to Get There
I went to visit a friend at a bar at the Ajman Hotel in Ajman - formerly the Kempinsky - and it was the worst. The lobby was fine with helpful staff to guide me, I was headed to the bowling alley. The corridor leading up to the bowling alley was smelling horribly and it stayed from the time I came in to the time I left. The bar was ok, nothing to write home about, the food and drinks are reasonably priced but the smell just put me off and I don't think I'll return.
We stayed in Ajman hotel for 2 weeks with our 2 kids (6 year and 1 year) and had a great time! We stayed in a Laguna Poolside room which we highly recommend to all familys with children.
We had the halfboard package and we were very satisfied with the food, especially the seafood buffet. But we think that water and juice should be complimentary at the buffet. One thing that could have been better is that we had to wait a long long time for somebody to come and take our drinkorder. And it seemed like the russian guests got better service at the buffetrestaurant than the rest of us.
The cleaning-team did a great job cleaning our room!
A special thank you to the lifeguard Manoj! What a serviceminded guy! And our kids really loved him! You are very lucky to have him in your staff!!
We will definitely come back!
great holidays in UAE. great times and we will be very happy to share our experience. staff was so nice and the hotel is top luxurious. as you expect in here.
family felt comfortable all time along our stay
Checked in for a five night stay and checked out after one.
Quality and standards not five star. Lack of service, room which was not representative on the website .
Went to stay at the Fairmont which really was five star and would highly recommend .
Beautiful place to stay in. Friendly, courteous and accommodating staff. Rooms are quite roomy and clean. Our room had a sea view with a balcony. Breakfast was tasty and the variety was impressive. Bukhara restaurant was a plus as we enjoyed dinning in the restaurant and then we headed to a coffee shop on the first floor for a cup of coffee and a shisha. The only thing that I did not like was having many kids in the swimming pool. The kids pool is small and thus children shared the swimming pool with adults. Still it did not ruin my enjoyable weekend with the family.
