Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa occupies blissfully tranquil grounds, ensuring fully relaxing stay (if that’s what you came for). There are three dining spaces, where you can try fabulous Moroccan dishes, and three bars that each boast distinctive atmospheres and styles. Relax along the stunning swimming pool in the warm sunshine, tee off on the 27-hole championship course at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, or make time for yourself in the Heavenly Spa.
Yet, despite the aura of serenity throughout the resort, you’ll also be close enough to the city to hop over whenever your mood is leaning more toward sightseeing than spa sessions. And don’t worry about running out of attractions to visit; this city is chock-full of them. Put the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and the architectural marvel that is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at the top of your list, and then see where this enchanting city takes you.
At 484 square feet, the contemporary Deluxe rooms are spacious and boast refreshing views over the golf course through their floor-to-ceiling windows; or, opt to take in the views from your own private balcony.
You’ll be in for a treat in each of the resort’s three lovely dining areas, whether you opt for buffet fare at Fairways, Italian dishes at Sacci or lighter snacks at the pool bar. When you’re in the mood for a drink, you can enjoy the snazzy atmosphere in the Lemon & Lime Lounge, coffee and tea in The Lounge or great views and fresh air over at The Retreat.
Enjoy a soothing spa session in the Heavenly Spa, nestled within the resort’s lush and expansive gardens. Here, organic products are used in most relaxing and pampering treatments, from full-body wraps to invigorating massages. A fitness studio also ensures you’re kept in tip-top shape.
Located on the fringes of Abu Dhabi Golf Club, the resort offers plenty for golf enthusiasts. Spread across 162 lush acres, the club features an impressive 27-hole course home to the PGA European Tour Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. Other noteworthy clubs in the area include Al Ghazal, Yas Links and Saadiyat Beach Golf Clubs.
The resort benefits from a quiet yet central location, and is a short drive from many sensational attractions in the UAE’s vibrant capital, from the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation and Marina Mall to Yas Waterworld and the unmissable Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
How to Get There
Had a wonderful experience, felt that I’m in a different part of the world, from the atmosphere to the excellent service and the beautiful green view , and the soft music. I enjoyed my tasty afternoon tea with a friend and asked them to bring some candles for my friend’s special occasion. I highly recommend the waitress “Ni Putu” to take care of your reservation, as she is very passionate about what she do, which made us happy.
I was in need of a few days on my own and with it being too hot to be at the beach, I thought a few days at a golf resort would be a great alternative. As a Marriott Bonvoy card holder I got a fantastic rate here, as well as other benefits being a Bonvoy member. Everything was perfect; the warm welcome, the efficiency of the front desk, the large room with green golf course views, the great breakfast, the friendliness of the staff, and the quietness of the location. I had the best time in my room and at the spa. A huge thank you to my wonderful therapist DEWI who brought me back to life with her healing hands and kind nature. I can honestly say she gave me some of the best treatments I have ever had. The spa itself isn't one of your Dubai bling spas - the emphasis is on the treatments, treatment rooms are quiet, the team is wonderful, and the cost is affordable, plus they don't try to pressure sell you the products at the end of your relaxation. I loved it and can't wait to go back. Thank you to all the staff who made this stay really special. Only one note that I haven't seen mentioned so far in previous reviews is that on Friday afternoon there is a brunch 'after party' where there is loud music, but only till around 8.00pm, and then it's quiet again. Highly recommend for a quiet break for couples, even if you don't golf (like me). I went out of my room only once to eat, to the English bar, the food and service was excellent. Although the bedrooms are slightly tired, and the English bar didn't seem English at all and was a bit characterless, this did not detract from a wonderful stay; the friendliness of the staff, the price point, the huge comfy bed and the Spa means this place has just shot to the top of my staycation list.
Very convenient and very accommodating staff. The place is perfect for relaxation, away from a busy crazy life in the city. Food is nice and the rooms are spacious! Going back soon!I would love to have my daughter with me next time, she love the pool ❤????
