Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa occupies blissfully tranquil grounds, ensuring fully relaxing stay (if that’s what you came for). There are three dining spaces, where you can try fabulous Moroccan dishes, and three bars that each boast distinctive atmospheres and styles. Relax along the stunning swimming pool in the warm sunshine, tee off on the 27-hole championship course at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, or make time for yourself in the Heavenly Spa.
Yet, despite the aura of serenity throughout the resort, you’ll also be close enough to the city to hop over whenever your mood is leaning more toward sightseeing than spa sessions. And don’t worry about running out of attractions to visit; this city is chock-full of them. Put the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and the architectural marvel that is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at the top of your list, and then see where this enchanting city takes you.
At 484 square feet, the contemporary Deluxe rooms are spacious and boast refreshing views over the golf course through their floor-to-ceiling windows; or, opt to take in the views from your own private balcony.
You’ll be in for a treat in each of the resort’s three lovely dining areas, whether you opt for buffet fare at Fairways, Italian dishes at Sacci or lighter snacks at the pool bar. When you’re in the mood for a drink, you can enjoy the snazzy atmosphere in the Lemon & Lime Lounge, coffee and tea in The Lounge or great views and fresh air over at The Retreat.
Enjoy a soothing spa session in the Heavenly Spa, nestled within the resort’s lush and expansive gardens. Here, organic products are used in most relaxing and pampering treatments, from full-body wraps to invigorating massages. A fitness studio also ensures you’re kept in tip-top shape.
Located on the fringes of Abu Dhabi Golf Club, the resort offers plenty for golf enthusiasts. Spread across 162 lush acres, the club features an impressive 27-hole course home to the PGA European Tour Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. Other noteworthy clubs in the area include Al Ghazal, Yas Links and Saadiyat Beach Golf Clubs.
The resort benefits from a quiet yet central location, and is a short drive from many sensational attractions in the UAE’s vibrant capital, from the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation and Marina Mall to Yas Waterworld and the unmissable Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
How to Get There
A little late in sending my review but it remains concurrent with the previous in that the standards experienced in this resort are exceptional.
We have been coming back year after year due to the level of care from the Westin team - we feel like family to them when staying.
Many of the staff recognized us from previous stays which is such a nice touch. Romesh one of the hotel's lifeguards treated us with such attention and care. Made us feel so welcome bringing us water and fruit during the day to cool off! Such a nice guy with a kind heart.
Rose and Nana in fairways also looked after us extremely well as we had my grandmother in a wheelchair, level of detail and attention is mind blowing.
Thank you to your team again, I know this review is very similar to my previous but your team deserve the recognition when it is due.
A luxury hotel overseeing the golf course. Great place to unwind and most of the rooms offer a great view of the lush green golf course. The breakfast is sumptuous. Slightly cut off from the main city though there are taxis available to take you to the nearby malls. I did not have a great experience with the laundry service.
Took my family to the pool along with friends visiting from outside the UAE, the pool is amazing , the staff are so friendly and helpful ,but I don’t understand how can a hotel get F&B so wrong and so bad this way
Poor menu with very limited variety
Very bad taste
Pizza very oily and soggy , fries were cold and the burgers tasteless
Food served at the pool was simply JUNK food served in a posh plates and cost more .
No healthy or even light options , salads options are poor as well.
It’s a great hotel , great staff and it’s a shame to be ruined by bad F&B team who designed and prepared very bad food
