What We Love
- Daily breakfast is included in the Jetsetter rate
- The service. In a hotel as small as this (18 rooms), the management can afford to be picky about who they employ, and it really shows
- Incredible views high above central Florence

- Rooms are the definition of Italian decadence
- Hotel concierge has a wealth of local knowledge and off-the-beaten-path recommendations

How to Get There
Amazing view overlooking the city of Florence. Stylish interior. Housekeeping was superb. The staff were helpful. Spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Overall highly recommended for anyone coming to Florence on a holiday.
We stayed in this hotel for only one night and we wish we should have more time and we will definitely come back. From the moment we arrived, Gabriel was very friendly and helpful to us. All staffs are very attentive to detail. The room is also very beautiful and the hotel itself offer the breathtaking view of Florence and Duomo. The breakfast was also very delicious and good quality. We definitely recommend this hotel for a people who love an unparalleled hospitality and stay (especially for special occasions).
Elegant old fashioned with fantastic views of Florence and the Douma. Great service downstairs and enjoyed breakfast and dinner. On the negative side the bath/shower in room 202 is extremely dangerous with a very small bathroom and boxed in bath/shower requiring a huge high and wide step over to get in and out...getting out is simply appallingly dangerous with a wet floor. I doubt this bath/shower passes any safety regulations. Avoid this room even if you’re young and flexible, if you’re over 50 refuse it. We should have but were so busy we didn’t. Also the electric sockets need updating with only one two pin socket far away in the bottom corner, useless in the digital age. The tv only had CNN, al jazeera English language channels and no UK channels at all. Even the ubiquitous BBC World wasn’t working. Pretty poor.
We stayed here for a week after New Year's and cannot overstate how fantastic it was. Immaculately clean rooms, fantastic views (don't skip the rooftop for a sundown/sunrise), delicious breakfasts, helpful staff, etc. Location-wise, being on this side of the river was wonderful, feels like a retreat after the days you will spend in the crush of the city center. But still very close to everything - 20 mins walking to the Ponte (and their shuttle will take you right there if you'd rather). Marcella and the staff were beyond helpful - answered our hundreds of questions and made every day easier. Rooms were sizable, comfortable private and ours had a view of the entire skyline (try to stay in the main bldg if possible).
If you have the chance to stay here, take it.
