All good as usual. Been going for 10 years. Save $$ by renting a studio w botanical view. Reasonable for Turks. Beach guys Francois and Russell are the BEST. Always a smile and greeting and will help find you a chair or umbrella whenever. Also a shoutout to the restaurant , Pelican Bay. Mila the mgr. is always a big help with reservations a special table etc. Lanie and Lenny our waitresses are genuinely friendly and professional. Food good and reasonable. Will be back again next year.

We had an ocean front room & what a gorgeous view! A kid friendly resort which was spot clean. We enjoyed our stay for 4 days! Can’t wait to visit again. Parking on the premises, helpful front desk, friendly staff - food was average. We had breakfast & lunch - expensive but nothing out of ordinary

We absolutely loved RWI Resort. Everything we needed was right there. Very relaxing vibe, great staff, excellent restaurants nearby. Hotel food was very good. We are coming back next year for sure. Kendros and Sherman were great, and we loved having use of the bikes.

Our second stay at RWI was great. The setting, grounds, beach access, studio suite accommodations, etc met or exceeded our expectations based on our previous stay in 2023. The RWI is a lovely resort, beautiful to look at, laid back and friendly. Part of the magic of the place is the buildings' more modest scale, no towering highrises, and the colorful plantings that you find everywhere give the RWI a special feeling. Add to that the helpful and friendly staff. Outstanding in that regard is Jessica who is behind the front desk most afternoons and evenings. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxed, humanscale resort experience.

The resort was lovely. I had no problems with anything except the ocean itself, and the ocean was of course beyond human control. I did not get a room in the building or on the floor I had asked for back in November--indeed the staff was unaware that I had made such a request--but I was happy with the room I got, a Botanical Studio on the second floor of Building 8. It looked out on the Quiet Pool and I even had a glimpse of the ocean in the distance. I heard no noise at all. I've never been so relaxed! Unfortunately, at the beach the water was choppy and I was unable to get in. I had had three criteria for picking a holiday destination and lodging: 1. flat calm water; 2. safety; 3. kitchen or kitchenette. Grace Bay is famous for its calm water, but as I found out as I waited day after day for the water to calm down, you can only count on that in May, June, July, and August. Also, Royal West Indies is directly across from a cut in the reef (Stubbs's Cut) that makes the water on that particular beach somewhat choppier than elsewhere, for instance on the other side of Grace Point or even in front of Club Med next door. On the last day of my stay I finally went to Sapodilla Bay on the south side of the island, where the water is guaranteed to be truly calm and is also agreeably shallow. The taxi fare back and forth is $100, so anyone who is thinking of making that trip on a regular basis would do well to rent a car. Aside from the Outer-Banks-of-North-Carolina-like pounding surf on Grace Bay beach, this resort was idyllic. The larger swimming pool in front of the restaurant is not designed as a lap pool, but it is about 25 yards long and some people were swimming from one end to the other, going under the little bridge, for exercise. It is a salt water pool, so not over-chlorinated. The entire resort seemed extremely safe. You can cook (sort of) in the microwave in a Botanical Studio. Guests were largely middle-aged or elderly, which may account for the tranquil atmosphere.

Two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family. Resort is clean, beautiful and very calm and quiet. Beach is beautiful and, again, relaxing and calm. Not a loud party spot - very secluded and low key. Really great place to relax. Restaurant at Pelican Bay was wonderful too. Easy walk to town, and lots of amenities available at the resort - including kayaks. Really perfect.

We have been enjoying the Royal West Indies since 2007. We go because we like the smaller, more intimate size, the beautifully maintained grounds and the friendly staff especially the guys on the beach who have become great friends over the years. We spend pretty much every day on the beach and having them there makes it even better. We have also become close to several other guests who come at the same time every year. It's our home away from home and like family. We have found the many rooms that we have stayed in comfortable and for the most part well maintained. We do rent a car as I like to travel to other beaches to kite surf and we enjoy the many restaurants on Provo. We look forward to next year.

We stayed at the Royal West Indies and thought the hotel was very clean and quaint. We loved our room but the service and staff members were beyond ignorant. I have never gone to an island and have been treated as bad as I did being at this resort. From the second we stepped foot on the premises when they took our bag and we tipped them. We were looked at with disgrace. And not a bad tip I might add. We then proceeded to bar and took the bartender ten minutes to look up at us. And then disgusted that we were going to order lunch. Before we finished our lunch he asked us to check out as he was leaving for the day. We then rented bikes and when checking the bikes out I looked up at the woman at the front desk. I looked at her name tag and she questioned me “why are you looking at my name tag. We then went to bed and heard loud music from the beach area.

We stayed here for a week in mid-December and although the hotel was sold out, we never had trouble finding two empty loungers with an umbrella on the beach, or chairs poolside. The staff was very friendly - whether at reception, the beach area, or in the Pelican restaurant. Sherman was especially lovely and showed us to our room the first day. Ocean view studio #334 had a pretty view of the ocean and pool area, and was very spacious for two people. We appreciated the washer/dryer inside, as well as the kitchen area. Parking was free and there was a nice market not too far away. The fish and chips, and rib dinner entrees at the hotel's Pelican restaurant were so flavorful and delicious. It's probably best to have a rental car to get around, but you could walk to the Cocovan airstream restaurant down the way for lunch or dinner too. The resort grounds were pretty and tropical, and we saw an egret and heron there during our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for 10 nights and were disappointed to say the least. The beach staff, and ground staff were brilliant, really friendly, hard working and chatty. The watersports that were included were also great. The reception staff were very poor, a few requests post check in were ignored and the lack of manners was unbelievable! We had an extra charge that was not ours added to our bill and when we queried it, we had no apology, just attitude that we were inconveniencing them by being there. The walls are really, really thin, when you can hear the room above go to the bathroom it really isn't great. Also be aware that the fridge in some rooms are very noisy too. Personally, I couldn't wait to leave and would never recommend to anyone. The only reason it got a 2 was due to the grounds, beach staff and watersports.
