How to Get There
Our family stayed in an oceanfront 2 bedroom condo. The condo was absolutely beautiful. Furnishings and decor were very up to date and the condo was nice and clean. We had a wonderful vacation. We met many families from all over the US and Canada. We loved relaxing on the screened in porch at night while listening to the music at Solana. The pool is beautiful and clean and the landscaping/grounds are very well kept. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Plenty of beach chairs/umbrellas and towels. Solana, the restaurant onsite was very good. Resort is in a great location as well. The free kayaks/paddleboards are a nice extra. Free bikes too but we didn't use them. The grills near the pool are spotless and we used them twice. Took the shuttle to Opus Restaurant and the casino one night. This really is a perfect resort for families on the most beautiful beach. Only downside was the windows in the second bedroom weren't working properly. Louvers and screens were broken letting in all the heat, bugs and noise. But we made the best of it. Management was made aware of this and we were told they will be repairing shortly. Don't hesitate to book your vacation here!
WE have stayed at this resort before and have always enjoyed it. This year we brought our 2 daughters son in law and 2 grand kids and we had a great time. We had a 3 bedroom unit which was perfect for the 7 of us. My grandkids loved the free use of paddle boards and kayaks. We had lunch at the rest. by the pool and it was very good.Aslo went to Opus Rest. at the Ocean Club which was great. The resort staff acknowledged the fact that we were return guests and treated us very well.
My Mom and I returned to Toronto, Canada after spending a very special week on Providenciales. It was my third visit (I went to Provo for the first time in 2014 with my husband and again with my mom in August 2017).
I try to take a special trip with my Mom every year, especially since my Dad passed away in 2015. We are very close and both have a love of swimming in the ocean, shopping, and enjoying beautiful beaches. In 2017, I wanted her to experience one of the most beautiful beaches in the world…..Grace Bay. My mother loved it so much that she has talked about it for the last two years. Life is too short, so of course, I wanted take her back to our beloved Grace Bay and surprised her with this return trip as a birthday gift! :)
It truly was as if we were returning “home” when we landed in Provo and checked into OCW! The weather during our week on the island was fabulous….and beautiful Grace Bay had our hearts beating once again as soon as we saw the beautiful turquoise water!
We stayed at Ocean Club West once again (this time in a studio room) and loved it! It was big enough and so well equipped for everything we needed for a week. We spent most of our time when we were in the room on the screened patio with a great view of the pool area, a chilled glass of white wine/Turks Head Lager or morning coffee….and a constant breeze!
The in room amenities (love the L’Occitane toiletries), and finishings were great (the only possible suggestion for improvement might be a proper larger fridge rather than the smaller bar fridge as it was difficult to hold a bag of ice), but we made do and appreciated everything else in the room!
The location is great...so close to a fabulous bakery, restaurants, shopping and a great grocery store.
The staff at OCW are wonderful...everyone from the front desk, the lovely cleaning lady, and grounds/security gentlemen were welcoming and helpful! It was really sweet to receive a lovely note welcoming us back with a great bottle of white wine which we enjoyed during our stay….so thoughtful!
We loved the renovated entrance from the beach (steps, seating area and great new showers and foot wash stations!)
We cannot wait to return to beautiful Grace Bay and OCW at some point soon! Thank you for another great stay!
P.s. Sorry for my late reflections, as we returned from what felt like our “home away from home” (OCW) in mid July (July 13-20).
