How to Get There
The location of this hotel is perfect, it’s right at the Tokyo train station, and if you requested the “meet and greet” service in advance, they will pick you up at the platform of the train station. I also like they provide “handy” which is a smartphone device you can use wifi and make phone calls for free. Breakfasts was very good, they used high-quality ingredients and everything was delicious. The concierge is amazing, they booked “Sukiyabashi Jiro” for us, which we tried to book through other ways and got rejected. This is THE place to stay in Tokyo.
We stayed at the Tokyo Station Hotel for 5 nights in September. The location can’t be beat. It is literally steps from the train station. So easy to catch a train or a subway. Notwithstanding the proximity to the train station this beautifully designed hotel is an oasis of serenity. The rooms are quiet, spacious & elegantly decorated. Our room overlooked the main plaza. We dined at the hotel on two evenings. Our meal in the Camellia bar was outstanding.
The staff are amazing & so gracious. In particular all 3 of the concierge staff that I dealt with on numerous occasions went over & above to help me out. They were incredible! Great shopping & restaurants are literally across the streets. The hotel is within walking distance of the Imperial Palace.
This is a fabulous hotel
Just book it! Dome rooms overlooking the actual goings on in the beautiful train station are awesome and unique (and completely soundproof). The hotel is immaculate and gorgeous. What a treat! Luxury, service and a unique setting. Not to mention an incredible location to tour all of Tokyo. If that isn’t enough, the staff is truly special. Marie Antoinette Mori, the lead concierge went way above the call of duty and scored us coveted (but not expensive!) baseball tickets for our travels to Hiroshima. When we checked in, she personally came to welcome and greet us. Other staff escorted us to taxis;
And all were just polished, helpful, and friendly. I would (and will) return to Tokyo in part just to spend some more time enjoying the hotel, the tea room, bar, etc. I debated between this hotel and the Ritz and am so happy we ended up choosing the Tokyo Station. Perfect in every way!
