How to Get There
Excelent Hotel. Very good location. Friendly staff with a lot of attention to the customers. If you can effort it don't miss it. I spent there around 7 nights. Don't miss teh exhabition in the next building. And the veiw from the top floor.
I loved this hotel! I would go back just for the bathtub. The hotel comes with complimentary bath salts and Aesop amenities to make it special.
The beds are on the firmer side, which I love, but I know it bothers some people.
We also went to the New York Bar and ordered room service. All of the food was fantastic. The New York Bar was on the pricier side, but well worth the splurge. The room service prices for breakfast actually weren't that high.
The only downside I would say is that it is a bit far from the train station. I was glad that we stayed at this hotel later in our trip, so we weren't out traveling around the city too much. I also didn't want to leave the room much since it was so amazing.
The Park Hyatt is an oldie but a goodie. This was our third stay and the service never disappoints. Our room’s view was beautiful, the food was great, and all in all it was a wonderful time. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Fantastic! Our stay was short, (only 4 nights), but this was the highlight of our overall Japan trip! Every detail was thought of and if we needed anything the experienced staff & management team were on hand to make it happen. From Edmund on the ground floor to all the way up to New York Bar & Grill, as in house guests we were welcomed warmly during our stay and nothing was too much trouble.
Outstanding iconic hotel which we were luckily enough to stay in for our honeymoon. Our suite was ridiculous with several rooms and the best view from a bath tub I have ever seen! Views of Tokyo from throughout the hotel are incredible. Pool fantastic, food good and usual excellent PH service throughout.
Couple of minor negatives, it’s overpriced but all of Japan is. You have to pay extra to use the spa facilities, which is a bit annoying considering the price of the room (I understand massages etc are extra - but would have liked to use onsen etc). Also think there are slightly better locations in Tokyo- it feels a little cut off compared to other hotels we have stayed in but not too far from Shinjuku so easy enough to get around.
One thing that annoyed us was the New York Grill. We paid to stay at the hotel as wanted to go here (as LIT are fave film), however staying at the hotel gave us no extra perks with people that had just turned up from outside getting better seats and ahead of us in the queue. I think it would be great if there could be a preference in future for staying guests!
All in all though this place is great and a fantastic option for a luxury hotel in Tokyo.
