Stayed here as part of a tour group in May 2018 and was very happy with the hotel.

Nice hotel close to the city centre. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was one of the better ones on our tour with plenty of choices for a vegetarian. Free wifi was excellent. Would recommend.

This is a quite expensive hotel. The room was okie, as long as you don't look too close, e.g. the bathroom window was full of mildew, very dirty and wouldn't open, the A/C was superloud and kept me from sleeping even though it was switched off in my unit. The breakfast options were really limited (not what one would expect at a hotel with that price and a 4* rating), eggs used at breakfast were labeled with a '2' which is actually the worst quality available in Austria - in a region like Innsbruck, I believe that there would be a lot of chicken around were you could get locally grown (organic) eggs. 1.5hrs prior to checkout time, housekeeping entered the room while I came out the shower and kept asking me when I'd leave because they really need to clean. This whole experience didn't make me feel too welcome.

Wonderful location

This hotel is located less than 5 minutes from town. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with lots of drawer and closet space. The Wi-Fi here is fantastic! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There was a coffee maker and mini-frig in the room as well. Breakfast was included. There were lots of hot and cold choices. We also ate dinner here one night. One waiter, Atilla, was very kind and brought us ice water when the other waiter would not.

Hotel Grauer Bar Experience
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Hotel Grauer Bar is a lovely property centrally located next to the university and just steps from the old city. We stayed in a junior suite that had a nice sitting area, over-sized shower and bath area with inlaid wood paneling without. There is a restaurant and bar on site as well as conference rooms. The breakfast was quite large with an omelette bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
