A 15-minute drive from the airport in Phuket, the 39-room Trisara offers a choice of villa-style digs or two- to six bedroom residences on a strip of shoreline near Layan and Nai Thon Beaches. All rooms are oceanfront or have partial ocean views with modern appointments, contemporary rich wood furnishings and a distinctly Southeast Asian flavor. And perhaps the best feature is that all accommodations unfold to a private, marble-clad plunge pool. Beyond the room, you can dine on the day’s fresh catch at Trisara Seafood, which opened in 2012 and is now a favorite Mediterranean seafood joint in Phuket. Be sure to save time for a day of respite at the full-service holistic spa overlooking the Andaman Sea. In addition to the everyday roster of spa treatments, this one serves up Reiki, Pilates and yoga as alternatives to the many snorkeling, diving and watersport offerings available.
In the Area
Charter a small motor yacht via the concierge and explore the beaches, hidden coves and secret snorkeling spots near the hotel. To go a little deeper, hook up with contract PADI Dive outfitter H2O Sportz for a range of one- or two-tank dives, or full certification courses for novices. On land, tee it up at nearby Blue Canyon Country Club, take a tennis lesson on one of the property’s two floodlit courts, or try your hand at Muay Thai on the beach. For the less active set, if you can tear yourself away from your private plunge pool, indulge in the signature Royal Trisara spa service, a six-hand massage blending chemical-free Sodashi products and the coordinated movements of three therapists.
How to Get There
I was deciding for a while where to stay on my visit in Thailand. Phuket, or one of the islands, etc. I decided to stay in Phuket and I could always do day trips to Phi phi or Phang Nga bay, etc. Then the question became where to stay in Phuket. I spent a lot of time doing research on which areas of Phuket to stay in. TRISARA was listed as top hotel but I was wary of location at first. Was I going to be too far wrt taking day trips etc? Anyhow I decided to take the plunge and booked it.
The hotel is amazing...reminds me of my visit years ago to rosewood mayakoba wrt to the expansive layout (carts are plenty avail for transport but I actually enjoyed the walks/steps getting to and from). I was initially upgraded to the 400s section but opted to go to my original room (300s) as the view was amazing and I didn’t need all the extra space that came with the upgrade. In a nutshell:
> amazing service...everyone was so nice, they went above and beyond, if u needed anything they would be there instantaneously. And they all remembered who I was, what I liked to order, etc.
> accomodations great - each room has its own plunge pool, and privacy galore, rooms well laid out, feel like you have the place to yourself.
> I’m a big foodie so this is also where they succeed. Breakfast amazing, have menu with mix of western and traditional Thai cuisine options. And the buffet is generous with a good array of options. When it came to dinner I had every intention of going out to one of the local restaurants but the food at the hotel was so good I ended up eating there every evening. “Seafood” for a few nites and “Pru” another evening. Everything amazing.
> close to airport, about 20-25 min. They provide transportation and you are fast tracked when you arrive...big plus if you arrive during busy time.
> beautiful property and great gym.
> can’t say enough about the service!
Cons: hmmm. Not too many
> if you have mobility issues, there’s lots of ground to cover and steps, but this is addressed given they have plenty of carts transporting people.
> beach not the best but it’s more due to the location than anything related to the property. So if ur looking for clear blue, soft sand beach, not the area for you.
In Trisara you are in heaven, from nature to people everything is smiling for you in this blessed place. We like the privacy of the private pool villa, the way we see the sunset in the sea from the infinity pool, hearing birds singing from the tropical forest that surrounds you. The people of Trisara are making you feel like at home, spoiled and willing not to leave, the gastronomic experience is always a happiness in the Thai food or seafood restaurants, the sea is in front of you and you can have snorkeling or diving trips very easy. We will always try to come back to this paradise.
Hotel and views are magnificent , The customer service also is something beyond imagination, They surprised us with things that we never experienced in any other hotels , They picked us up from the plane door-step , took us through a fast track service in the passport control , took us to the hotel in a luxurious car, allowed us for early check-in , allowed us for late check-out , dropped us again to the other hotel, all of this without even asking for. Unbelievable . I am here thanking all the team and the management for this exceptional customer service . Coming back again? Oh definitely yes .
We stayed at the Signature One Bedroom Suite on top of the hill with enchanting panoramic views. Excellent service across the journey from pick up at the airport to drop off and at all touch points in the resort, from the restaurants to the pool, beach and Spa. Very expensive by Thailand standards but worth the spend. Absolute privacy in the villas. Lush greens. Excellent food including the Michelin rated PRU. If you want to rest and relax in a heavenly setting, this is the place to be. Very convenient location to HKT airport but a bit far from the city and hot spots. The Signature One Bedroom is great for a Couple. Double the Price of the regular one bedroom but double the space...and a 10m lap pool excellent for a good exercise in a magical setting overlooking the ocean and surrounded by greenery....not to mention a beautiful sunset.
This was a fabulous 4 day holiday at villa 23 with Nuna and Sue who catered to all our waking needs. We wanted to take them home with us. The property was unreal and an oasis away from home. We had amazing cooked meals on the outside deck. The Property is beautifully furnished and has all the amenities one would ever want. The outdoor shower enclosed and the bathtub added an extra touch to this experience.
