A 15-minute drive from the airport in Phuket, the 39-room Trisara offers a choice of villa-style digs or two- to six bedroom residences on a strip of shoreline near Layan and Nai Thon Beaches. All rooms are oceanfront or have partial ocean views with modern appointments, contemporary rich wood furnishings and a distinctly Southeast Asian flavor. And perhaps the best feature is that all accommodations unfold to a private, marble-clad plunge pool. Beyond the room, you can dine on the day’s fresh catch at Trisara Seafood, which opened in 2012 and is now a favorite Mediterranean seafood joint in Phuket. Be sure to save time for a day of respite at the full-service holistic spa overlooking the Andaman Sea. In addition to the everyday roster of spa treatments, this one serves up Reiki, Pilates and yoga as alternatives to the many snorkeling, diving and watersport offerings available.
In the Area
Charter a small motor yacht via the concierge and explore the beaches, hidden coves and secret snorkeling spots near the hotel. To go a little deeper, hook up with contract PADI Dive outfitter H2O Sportz for a range of one- or two-tank dives, or full certification courses for novices. On land, tee it up at nearby Blue Canyon Country Club, take a tennis lesson on one of the property’s two floodlit courts, or try your hand at Muay Thai on the beach. For the less active set, if you can tear yourself away from your private plunge pool, indulge in the signature Royal Trisara spa service, a six-hand massage blending chemical-free Sodashi products and the coordinated movements of three therapists.
How to Get There
Thank you so much for your great hospitality, kindness and the unbeatable high Servicelevel! We will definitely be back! This hotel is one of the best locations we have ever been. Peaceful, quite and executional excellence
If you're a Phuket resident or a regular visitor to the island, then experiencing Trisara's Sunday brunch is a must-do.
I have had the pleasure of sampling Sunday brunch here on several occassions. This visit was my first in quite a while. I had forgotten just how fantastic the experience is. It was the first time there for my brunch partner - an old friend visiting from Scotland (he stated at the end of his first ever visit to Thailand that the Trisara brunch was the culinary highlight of his trip).
Every single member of staff, from the buggy driver transporting you from the upper reception to the restaurant reception, the receptionists, through the wait staff, the bar staff ... the whole team deliver serice excellence. Like nowhere else on Phuket.
The brunch setting is fabulous. Particulalry the outdoor seating. Well shaded, with views out over the beautiful stretch of beach and the azure Andaman Sea.
The food is spectacular - in terms of the selection, its presentation, the freshness & quality, and of course the taste. The finest buffet food on the island by a long way.
Well done to the whole team at Trisara for making a Sunday afternoon such an absolute pleasure.
I stayed with a friend at Trisara Hotel in November and it truly is one of the nicest hotels, I've stayed at. Our room had a pool that was completely private, overlooking to most amazing view of the ocean. The room was spotlessly clean and beautiful. Every day, I had fresh fruit in my room as well as chocolates and super yummy cookies. The hotel can arrange a private BBQ dinner at your private patio which we did that was fantastic. They also arranged a private tour of James Bond Island with a picnic lunch, a private Thai cooking class as well as a private guided tour of the downtown area visiting local cafes and shopping. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was great, delicious fresh fruit, fresh juices, food to order on a menu and so much more. We also used the spa which I also recommend. I would definatly recommend this hotel and I would love to come back the next time I am in the region.
Trisara is not cheap. It is luxury. Stayed there for a few days - 3rd time back and I will be back again.
20 minutes to the airport although you only hear the occasional airplane, most the time it was either a chopper or seaplane.
Personally I find there is something lovely and familiar about going back to a resort time and time again.
GM, Anthony Lark introduced himself which was nice.
Staff all round are excellent.
Had an EXCELLENT massage (ask for Ammy). Although the lady who did my waxing hung around the room for the 1st 5 minutes of my massage, which I found odd, I believe she was cleaning up, but still, I found it a bit distracting. Thankfully the massage and Ammy's technique made up for it.
Food good, although I do wish they would offer more Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Wheat-Free options, particular at breakfast buffet, unless I just didn't look properly.
Wasn't keen on my neighbors who seemed very keen to speak to each other at the tops of their voices, but I let it go as it was during the day. At night though I could hear their music through the wall, so sound proofing may have been a bit off?
I'm sensitive to sound, noise, any form of audio.
I arrived right in the middle of the Sunday Jazz brunch - which means guests from outside, that are NOT staying at resort come in - if that's not your thing, well now you know - better check directly with Resort exactly what time their Sunday brunches end. I noticed the music stopped around 3pm - ish.
I had booked an Ocean View Pool Junior Suite - so I could hear the music from said Sunday brunch. I know next time I'll request room further away or more 'up the hill'.
I'll definitely go again.
I have the absolute pleasure to have found my perfect beach resort hotel in all of SE Asia in Trisara. I traveled for seven weeks and stayed at 15 high-end hotels, and this one was my absolute favorite. Everything was simply wonderful, the pool villas, the food including Pru with a Michelin star, the wonderful service, and the stunning location. I felt so pampered in the extremely private villa (301) that I mostly stayed on my private sun deck and enjoyed lounging in the pool, having treats from the lovely mini-bar filled with complimentary drinks and snacks - the passion fruit truffles were extra delicious. The staff was friendly and so very helpful. I simply cannot think of a resort that I enjoyed more, and I WILL be back.
