A 15-minute drive from the airport in Phuket, the 39-room Trisara offers a choice of villa-style digs or two- to six bedroom residences on a strip of shoreline near Layan and Nai Thon Beaches. All rooms are oceanfront or have partial ocean views with modern appointments, contemporary rich wood furnishings and a distinctly Southeast Asian flavor. And perhaps the best feature is that all accommodations unfold to a private, marble-clad plunge pool. Beyond the room, you can dine on the day’s fresh catch at Trisara Seafood, which opened in 2012 and is now a favorite Mediterranean seafood joint in Phuket. Be sure to save time for a day of respite at the full-service holistic spa overlooking the Andaman Sea. In addition to the everyday roster of spa treatments, this one serves up Reiki, Pilates and yoga as alternatives to the many snorkeling, diving and watersport offerings available.
In the Area
Charter a small motor yacht via the concierge and explore the beaches, hidden coves and secret snorkeling spots near the hotel. To go a little deeper, hook up with contract PADI Dive outfitter H2O Sportz for a range of one- or two-tank dives, or full certification courses for novices. On land, tee it up at nearby Blue Canyon Country Club, take a tennis lesson on one of the property’s two floodlit courts, or try your hand at Muay Thai on the beach. For the less active set, if you can tear yourself away from your private plunge pool, indulge in the signature Royal Trisara spa service, a six-hand massage blending chemical-free Sodashi products and the coordinated movements of three therapists.
How to Get There
I just came back from my destination wedding in Phuket which took place at Trisara. This review will be in two parts. One about the hotel and one about the wedding.
Review of the property/hotel:
Absolutely gorgeous and jaw dropping! I come from a career of hospitality management and can say that every single penny was worth it just with the service alone. The entire grounds is very well maintained and the moment you step foot on this property you feel like you're in a luxurious paradise. If you need something, the staff is right there taking care of whatever you need in just a few moments. The food at Trisara is so delicious, and I'm just referring to the free breakfast every morning too. I have fallen in love with Trisara and my husband and I are already planning to return here to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Review of the wedding:
I took a big risk of planning a destination wedding (from USA) solely through online research. I never took a trip to Thailand to visit the venue, taste the food and meet with any vendors. Crazy, right? I went in hoping everything advertised on Trisara's website was what I would be getting. Boy, was I IMPRESSED! My wedding was exactly as advertised and even more! I communicated with Trisara's wedding planners, Ron and Aom, through email and WhatsApp and the wedding was so luxurious, beautiful and intimate. All my guests were so impressed with the property and even more so with the entire ceremony set up! Ron stayed with us from day 1 of planning all the way through the entire wedding running around and making sure everything was going smoothly. He did an amazing job! I am so glad I had the wedding of my dreams and am thrilled to have chosen and trusted Trisara 110%.
We were so sad to leave and can't wait to come back to Trisara again. It was truly a dream staying here! Thank you Anthony (GM), Ron, Aom and the entire Trisara staff!
The Trisara is probably the most beautiful and stunning location we have ever stayed at – and we have been lucky enough to stay in some amazing 5* hotels around the world.
We had booked an Ocean View Villa for 2 weeks, however, on arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an Ocean Front Villa with sweeping and uninterrupted views of the Andaman Sea.
The views from the infinity pool were simply amazing!
Service as you’d expect, was impeccable; welcoming and friendly without being over so, and after a quick call, buggies would appear to whisk you off to wherever you needed to go.
The food was also sublime; breakfast had every option you could possibly think of (and more!), and both the lunches and evening meals were varied and flavorsome with local produce at the forefront of their dishes.
This is of course not to forget the cookies, chocolates, fruit (and water!) that was generously replenished every day.
Nothing is too much trouble and every request is met with a warm smile and a keenness to please.
If you are looking for a luxurious, high-end Villa hotel in a stunning location, then The Trisara cannot be beaten for these and both privacy and relaxation.
We really need to plan a return visit!
Had dinner here on a saturday night, it was fairly busy but they had a space outside by the fireplace. The menu is short and sweet but plenty to choose from. Wine and cocktail menu is more exhaustive. We took bruschetta and meatballs to start and a pizza as main course. Food arrived quickly, warm and very tasty. Service is friendly. Kids welcome.
A stunning restaurant serving a beautiful experience in a jaw-dropping location. High-quality local produce is transformed by the talented kitchen into culinary delights, served impeccably by the slick wait staff. Scrumptious cocktails and a stellar wine list complete the picture. Devine!
If you have read the previous reviews I am only going to repeat the same thing, this place is really AMAZING. From the moment you are collected at the airport, till the moment you are returned to the airport, everything is perfect. Northing is too much trouble, just ask and you receive. ALL the staff are amazing, the gardeners who stop to wish you a good morning on your way to breakfast, the restaurant staff, the bar staff, buggy drivers, housekeeping, everybody is just so lovely and friendly and helpful. The serenity, view, room size and location of the villas is all just perfect. We have stayed at a lot of hotels around the world and by far Trisara would be one of the best experiences we have had anywhere. For me the icing on the cake was to be given the fabulous beach bag to take home, such a small gesture, but just lovely to have been given this momento. Well done to you all at Trisara.
