Words...pictures...don't do this place justice!

Man there are no words and no pictures that can truly show how beautiful this property is. Stay at the Baray Villas. Do not stay in a regular room. Stay in the villas. The entire property is amazing. They look to be adding on some more rooms currently, but the construction did not take away from the experience. From the street, the property looks unassuming, but round the corner and you are transported in to another world!
The staff were awesome as well. Everyone makes you feel at home. The lush property and hanging beds and everything is just amazing about this property. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Beautiful and lovely staff

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous as are the rooms. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! I agree with the other reviews, lots of bugs but they warn you up front, so luckily we didn’t get bit because we always used bug spray. Also, the wi-fi is annoying. We had to log in every time we used our phone and went through 3 different log ins because they weren’t working. The breakfast is delicious and there are endless choices at the buffet. Good happy hour from 4-6pm at the pool bar and always cookies in your room after a cleaning. The massage from the spa was the best I’ve ever had! I strongly recommend staying here!

Most memorable hotel ever

Words cannot describe the beauty of every single aspect of this hotel - it's like staying in a thai art gallery. But the staff make it even better. I had an accident whilst there and they went above and beyond - took me to hospital, then brought me flowers and a get well card. Pools are stunning - especially at night. Large range of room service options - all delicious. Easy walk to everything and Kata is an absolutely great place to stay in Phuket. Cannot reccomend enough - we stayed in the Baray Villa and was worth the extra $$

Tropical oasis

We have just stayed 5 days at the Baray Villas and it was everything I wanted in a luxury resort but I particularly love the lush tropical grounds this is what I look for in my ideal holiday and this fitted the bill - palms, ferns, trees and water features everywhere, this is what a tropical resort should look like. The villa itself was excellent, being spacious with everything you need and the private plunge pool and our own sun lounges leading out to the pool for villa guests was awesome.

Didn't book the breakfast option but at only 250baht per person for a full buffet this was a bargain compared to the nearby cafes offering "breakfast" and we took up this most days.

We loved our stay at the Baray Villa

Our family of 4 stayed in the two story villa April 14-18, 2018. We absolutely loved it. The space was huge and decorated in a relaxing, luxurious, beautiful way. I loved having the downstairs for the kids with their own bathroom. It gave us all the space we needed. The pool comes right into your villa with doors to swim in and out. You have your own little pool in your courtyard and then you can swim out to the very long pool shared with the other villas. There was never anyone else swimming in that area when we were out there but once in awhile I did see some people swim by when I was inside. I would love to stay here again. We also enjoyed swimming in the smaller pool near the entrance because it was warmer and more in the sun. We had several lunches at the swim up bar and they were great. Our kids loved the pizza. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Two days we had to eat at 6:30 am and unfortunately not much of the buffet is out that early. Also, when you order coffee it takes a long time to come (as in, you'll be done eating) but all else was perfect. We really enjoyed eating at the hotel for dinner as well. We had so much fun and felt really relaxed swimming in the pool. It was amazing!! Regarding the mosquitoes, there were just a few at dusk and I think that is inevitable in this area. We went out to eat in Phuket Town in a wooded area and were swarmed by mosquitoes so I think people don't realize what is normal in a tropical area. I think they are doing what they can to keep them at bay and they are not too bad.
