At the northern end of Patong Beach, the B-Lay Tong is a fun five-star beachfront retreat. The exterior is made up of minimalist modern blocks interspersed with bright multicolored glass walls and circular windows, and the awesome see-through infinity pool features partially submerged loungers and a swim-up cocktail and smoothie bar. The bright and breezy guestrooms are decorated in the four different element colors (red, blue, green and yellow), in keeping with feng shui principles. Bold local artworks adorn the walls (there’s also an in-house art gallery), and all rooms come with rainfall showers and a private balcony. Romantics should splurge on a Grand Deluxe Room, which has an outdoor hot tub and a love seat. Evenings are best spent in the 198 Lobby Bar watching the sun set over the Andaman Sea, or at the B-Hive Gallery BaRestaurant; try the signature honey cocktail and dine on Asian and international fare.
In the Area
The hotel is at the quieter northern end of Patong Beach but within easy reach of the area’s legendary party scene. It’s a 20-minute walk from Bangla Road, which has enough bars, clubs and revelers to keep you busy until the small hours. To the north of Patong Bay is Kamala beach and Phuket FantaSea, an evening theme and cultural park with nightly shows. There are also plenty of outdoor activities on offer across the island, from beach massages and elephant rides to canoeing and golf. If you’re looking to sample some local cuisine, take a cab to Baan Noy, near the south coast, for some of the best seafood on Phuket.
How to Get There
It is just next to Patong beach, one of the most famous beach in Phuket.
When me and my friend arrived at the hotel, we were so hungry (almost midnight)
We decided to order Room service.
Phad Thai, Honey Citrus Salad and Penne Pomodoro!
the Food were so great.
Breakfast was awosome!! (The dimsum and Eggs)
also the quality of bed.... GREAT! I wanted to stick on the bed all day long,
from the Pool, the view is also good. you guys can see the Beach without any obstacles.
Love to stay there again once i go to Phuket again!
Just returned a few days ago from an amazing holiday . My husband and i were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary away without the children . This hotel was amazing and ticked all the boxes for us including, the pool and pool bar, amazing views from the pool, the friendly staff i could go on and on.
The complimentary minibar was a lovely surprise. The rooms were light ,large and cleaned daily.
Breakfast was buffet style offering breads, fruits, eggs, pancakes, french toast, cereals and Thai Style breakfast, far too much to choose from.
We had a lovely room overlooking the pool and beach, room 542. This room is on the 4th floor. There is a lift to each level and the stairs are not too bad to walk up either.
11am every day you are able to get on the free hotel bus to the shopping mall , but it is only one way.
Thursday nights are B Lay Tong night market nights where a few stall offering various gifts to buy.
We ordered food round the pool a couple of times which was stunning. Pool music suited the time of day and the type of people around the pool at the time , and always played the best playlist during sunset.
Yes there are a few tiles loose or missing in the pool but did not compromised safety in any way .
We left our room for 2 days and 1 night while we were away on the Phi Phi Islands. On our return he room and belongings was how we left it.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday and we would love to return one day.
We’ve just come to the end of our 2 week stay at the B-Lay Tong in Phuket and I can’t praise this hotel enough! From the moment we arrived the staff have been incredible! After a long flight we where directed to our room 544 and what a great room balcony over looking the pool with views of the beach and the jungle it was perfect. Huge bed really comfortable great tv to chill with of a night and tea and coffee and water provided every day. This hotel is in a prime location just over Road from beach but at a quiet end of the resort only 15 minute stroll into the resort centre. Breakfast was wonderful an abundance of choice so much to choose from full English down to full Thai plenty of fruit cereal and one mean omelette!! The attention to detail is second to none and I can’t wait to return! Would 100% recommend to any travellers
Very good hotel, well located in Patong but not in the noisy area, easily accessible.
The pool is great, good size, great view on the beach from the pool and a bar directly in the pool. Probably the best thing about this hotel. Another good thing is that we could just go across the street and we were already on the beach.
The rooms are pretty spacious and fairly new. The amenities are good. The room’s design is nice, modern and simple and the hotel’s overall design is very nice, artsy and good looking.
Service is good and staff is nice. Tried the hotel restaurant a few times, by the pool and at the lounge downstairs for happy hour, overall good.
Breakfast is ok, choice is a bit limited but overall can’t complain.
Overall satisfied, would book again.
