How to Get There
One of the most delightful hotel stays for me in awhile! As a platinum member, i was upgraded to a "Corner Suite" on the 24th floor. The 1 bedroom suite was just what the doctor ordered, ample space to work late during the evenings with a separate sleeping area and delightful shower and tub. The Corner suite is also isolated and free from noise. I took advantage of the 24th floor lounge which served a delightful breakfast as well as evening hors d'oeuvres. Being Platinum also allowed for complimentary drinks and snacks at the other bars and restaurants on the property. To be sure, the swimming pool was a delightful escape during the hot and humid afternoons. The ability to have 2 pieces of laundry per day was a most pleasant surprise. The Westin is in a perfect location right next to Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT station with easy access to BKK. Thank you to Juthamas Jenpituk and Roby Jane Plasabas for personally reaching out and making this a memorable stay!!
The hotel is very well appointed. The staff are fantastic with their attention to detail and willingness to assist. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The bed was super comfortable and the choice of pillows is very good. Fresh coffee can be made from a very good capsule coffee machine. We would definitely stay here again.
The room was really good condition. And the location is the best. It takes just 3min to subway station. Most of all, the staffs were really kind.
Chi, the receptionist, from Japan makes our trip perfect. Thanks to her, I was able to make good memory i Bangkok.
I usually stay 3-4 months a year in Thailand on business trips. My main business is in Bangkok and when in Bangkok, there is one hotel where I ALWAYS stay: the Westin Grande Sukhumvit. What takes me there always is the great hospitality of the staff, the lounge with people like Khun BoBo, Mona, May, Rich, Nong and oil to name a few. Anthony has his own charm, fine to talk with or when u need help.
Sorry if I miss a name of the hospitable staff of this hotel. My thanks to all.
I am happy to have found my place in Bangkok.
This is my 2 or 3 times in this hotel. During this trip, I have stayed for 3 nights. The room is spacious and staffs are all helpful and friendly especially at the ground floor concierge staff (I did not take down his name) and the bell boy who helped me. Only disappointed by the room facing main road as I can hear the tutu and train passing by sound and worst of all, I can hear the bell 🔔 sound every hour until 12 midnight and start again at 6 am. Breakfast generally is ok at this hotel. The Japanese Restaurant Kisso is worth trying as they served nice Japanese food.
