Between ave. to good

Nice and spacious with two floors. Air con. chill very well the room.

Swimming pool is a bit small but fine for 3 days staying.

Staff in general are fine but again nowadays less hearing of Sandwa dee ka or krab. esp at the cafe. I think I said more Kar koon krab more than them.

Only the housekeeping staff are quite friendly.

Breakfast buffet are fair enough for the variety.

Definitely good location to check out for food, foot massages and late nights activities. and close to the MRT.

Grab is working well and pick up at hotel ground floor.

May not come back as just too many selection around Bangkok.

Remark: pillow is a bit ?, anyway it is a personal standard.

Very poor service

Wife booked hotel via Agoda a few days ago for 1 night. Now sat in reception and telling me that she clicked on 1 person so is an additional charge of 1000 baht for me to stay with my wife.

Never heard of this when booking hotels, unless it’s with children and addition things needed like extra bed and breakfast.

Needless to say having just paid for the room they now tell me it can’t be cancelled.

Shocking service, who else could stay in the room? We are a couple not a large family

Never stay at this Hotel.

Do not stay at this Hotel. I stayed at S31 IN January this year for five days. In short I left some very expensive cigars behind when I left. Some of my luggage including, I thought, my cigars went to one destination and I, together with some of my other luggage went to another destination.

Some ten days later I discovered my cigars had been left at the hotel. I called the Hotel as soon as I discovered the loss and spoke to a very helpful gentleman who called me back some five hours later. He said the housekeeping staff had found the cigars, fantastic I thought, however he then went on to tell me they had subsequently been ‘throw away’.

I then went through several days of trying to communicate with the general manager. It probably is easier to speak to the head of Interpol. Eventually I had email contact with the manager. He explained it was policy to throw away things that guests left behind. I said ‘So if I left a two carat diamond ring in the room or a car in the Hotel car park, you would throw those away as well?’ I also asked ‘ When did I sign to say I agreed and accepted this policy because I had never seen it nor agreed to it?’ Eventually I was told this policy is on the inside of a wardrobe in each room, where it is invisible of course!

I asked for my cigars to be replaced, they are available in Bangkok this was refused and I was offered a night, one night, in a room about two grades lower than the one I had stayed in and half board. This in no way came close in value to the loss I had suffered, it costs an Hotel, provided they have the space, very little to let a customer stay there and I didn’t want the half board I had no intention of eating there.
This offer was not improved upon.

It is a pity because I liked the Hotel in some ways. The reception staff I dealt with were off hand, but the Concierge staff were superb. I spend about thirty plus days a year in Bangkok and I would have stayed at S31 the whole time each year had this issue been resolved and I told the general manager, Mr Rachot Chitrbhandh, this but it fell on deaf ears.

Frankly the truth is obvious, someone kept or sold my property. Anyone in the Hotel trade knows what Cohiba and Romeo and Julietta cigars are worth and to ask me to believe they were ‘thrown away’ is insulting. To make matters worse, I asked why not call or email me? Had they called the day I checked out I could have retrieved them the same day, after that I could have had others retrieve them with a problem. I never got a straight answer to that of course. They had my Thai and UK telephone numbers and also my email. The day after I checked out I received an email form S31 asking to give an assessment of my stay so they can’t say they could not contact me.

Guests leave things in hotel rooms all the time, this should not be an opportunity for pilfering but an opportunity to show some customer service and help the unfortunate guest.

So, don’t stay here unless you keep your hands on all of your possessions at all times or your risk falling foul of the hidden policy that makes your possessions fair game for the staff. Perhaps they can move the policy notice to make it more easily accessible, perhaps under the refrigerator. A very costly stay for me, I will never go back this and ruined what should have been a happy time over my Birthday. Amazingly poor experience.

Comfortable! Great sleep

Was here for a business trip and the hotel was close to our company office. Bathroom's great, bed's huge (mind that I was set at the premium room though so not sure what the layout is for others). My only thing was that after I set a bath, the switch to drain the tub wasn't working. Was expecting the next day that the housekeeping would fix this, but when I got back from work, failed to drain it. Not sure what logic it would be that I would want to keep the water in the tub.

Breakfast assortment is a bit limited -- had the same types of things everyday.

Had a pleasant stay though. Bed was A+ and did not want of pillows. Easy to use public transportation and close to places where we needed to be.

Bad Treatment

I have been staying at this hotel for ever 10 years this last stay was the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel, the reception staff constantly harassed me calling for me to come pay small bills even though they had a deposit from me the panoramic suite they put me in had a leak so half the room was constantly wet, they did nothing about this.
I will never ever stay at this hotel again.
When I complained the manager was in a meeting and not 1 of the 3 staff at reception would even apologize they just took my money and asked me to leave.
