How to Get There
The facilities are excellent. Worth staying there with very good services. Easy access to public transport, shopping malls, nearby tourist attractions. Simply, its was awesome stay for 3D2N for me and worth money that I paid.
Stayed 3 nights during my last trip in Bangkok.
Hotel is well located, near busy streets and not to far from center.
Had a very big room (1413), clean, nothing to complain.
Beakfast was good.
Check-IN/OUT was fast and every people was very nice and helpfull.
Only point, but this is a detail, the entrace of my room looks a little bit cold. A table, or something should be in this big empty room. The little sofa is not enough, or maybe is is so to have a party...lol.
Nothing bad but also nothing great.. I stayed in premier room, love the bath tub, unfortunately the TV inside the bathroom didn't work.. Clean.. Room is too bright at night from the light on the hallway n corner of the curtain can't close completely
I've stayed in this hotel a few times and every time have thoroughly enjoyed it. I stayed in the Duplex Suite and the Deluxe room and loved both rooms. The amenities provided are great and complete with everything that a traveller would need. The bathrooms are large, the rooms are quite large too with great lighting, large comfortable beds and pillows, TV with cable and the cleanliness level in this hotel is excellent. The breakfast spread is of a relatively decent size with international and local Thai dishes too. Location wise, it is also very easily accessible being situated near the BTS station and the concierge staff are extremely helpful in flagging down taxis if you need. It is also near quite a few eateries, au bon pain and a 7-eleven should you not be in the mood to venture too far from the hotel.
One of my favourite things about this property would be the spa. Every time I go to Bangkok, whether or not I stay in this hotel, I will make a point to visit their spa. The service is great and I've enjoyed all the packages and treatments that I've done so far. Overall this is a terrific property that I personally really love and would definitely recommend staying here!
S31 used to be the go to business hotel for me.
However I was appalled to find out that they had problems with their hotel and would not admit to the problems. They would rather cover up the problems.
I was given a deluxe room on level 20.
The shower head was spoilt, but the caretaker came in and denied my request and instead told me not to use the shower head despite my request to change the room.
The faucet also leaked when the shower was used in the tub, causing the whole floor to be wet when the shower was used. The caretakers solution was to provide me with more towels to dry up the leaking water on the floor.
This place is a massive joke compared to what it once was and is in dire need of a remake.
Here's the best part. I told the checkout staff that I would check out at 1.30pm due to a late flight and they said it was fine.
At 1.20pm on checkout day, an incredibly rude staff/ manager called me and yelled at me saying WHO SAID 1.30 WHO SAID? and literally told me to get out of the room or be charged a half room fee. The rudeness of the staff is distasteful and disgusting.
Best avoid. I would recommend hyatt or holiday inn over this place.
Sorry to say but I will not be visiting this place again and will be actively recommending others to avoid this place as well.
