Central Bangkok beauty with a spa, 10 bars and restaurants and easy access to world-class boutiques

The Lowdown

The Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok’s modern geometric façade belies its contemporary Thai-influenced interiors. All 380 rooms are outfitted with elegant teak furnishings, travertine floors and marble baths. The resort’s outdoor pool and stocked fitness center provide ample athletic diversions, while the concierge can arrange tee times and transport to one of Bangkok’s top-rated courses, including Lakewood Country Club, for those seeking a little fresh air. Ten restaurants and bars ensure you’ll never go hungry; the French-inspired Tables whips up a rocking brunch with dishes like lobster bisque and champagne risotto. And the full-service i.sawan spa has treatments to suit every traveler. But the hotel’s real draw is its proximity to Bangkok’s best shopping, including lobby-level boutiques and easy access to the area’s top arcades.

In the Area

Just beyond the Grand Hyatt compound, the gilded Erawan Shrine features the Brahma god Than Tao Mahaprom and is thought to bring good fortune to visitors. Nearby, the 18th-century National Museum is home to the world’s most extensive collection of Thai artifacts and gives proper context to any Bangkok visit. For families, Siam Ocean World is home to the region’s largest aquarium, while Lumphini Park is an oasis amid the city’s financial district, offering a playground and boat rentals on the lake. Shoppers will be spoiled for choice between Erawan Bangkok Mall, adjacent to the hotel, and the boutiques of high-end Gaysorn Plaza just across the street.

located next to the Erawan Shrine this hotel is both: luxurious and comfortable. The SPA where you walk outside the hotel roof is really a class on its own.. everybody is very nice and friendly - making your stay enjoyable !

It has been a great pleasure staying at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. Overall great service with great location. Special thanks to Lyla, from Guest Experience Team, who set up our kid’s amenity before our arrival, and welcomed us to the hotel after our arrival. My son really enjoyed lovely toys for the Chinese New Year Celebration.

Excellent location and beautiful rooms

I Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The rooms are spacious and have some high tech nice features. They have a big and busy lobby. The breakfast is served in the lobby area but was a bit noisy and annoying. The Spaso located on the Hotel Lower Lobby is basically a pick up place.

It was our first time in Bangkok.
Staying at the Grand Hyatt Erawan was the best choice we could make.
The location is in the middle of the city.
Rooms and hotel are very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had. We loved the club lounge.

Wonderful hotel and staff.

Hotel has a great location, with an extremely attentive staff. Definitely recommended. The lounge is on the 17th floor and is very nice. Spa was good. Only thing I would like to see is a more expansive breakfast.
