How to Get There
We stayed for 1 night at this establishment and the decision was made mainly for its location. The room was indeed smallish but sufficiently clean. We enjoyed the room until the evening when we realised the TV cannot be turned off or unplugged and we were too lazy to get the housekeeper to figure out the "technical" problem.
We checked in and was offered an upgrade for a cost of 400 baht a night, we decided to take it after checking the the room we already had.
In the reviews the same month, the hotel was charging 300 baht a night, for an upgrade. So that’s why it didn’t show the total on the receipt ? 100 baht a night must have gone to the fairies. ?
The room we had upgraded for,had more room space and a little better window, soft seating with a glass table. The same facilities Tea/coffee etc.
Breakfast was average/good, but the walk way for the swimming pool goes through the eating and hot plate area, when noticed for the early swimmers .
The swimming pool is ok for a dip and an hour or so to relax.
24 hr tuk tuk to take you and return to the end of Soi 12, Sukhumvit road end.
Which is appreciated, it can be a bit dangerous of vehicles moving tightly up and down.
The hotel is basic but serves its purpose for a night or two, but no more. Better hotels around for comfort and cost.
Thanks for all the stuff at the hotel
Such as, Viva, Benz, Melon, pond
Will definitely come back, thanks for all the lovely service hospitality!
Nice swimming pool
Good shuttle cart 24 hours
First of all, I have no complaints about this hotel considering the price I paid. Staff was friendly enough. The free breakfast buffet has a good selection of basic items (fruits, eggs/western dishes, pastries, and small amount of asian dishes). Room is clean, and bed is comfy. However just keep in mind 2 things, the basic queen bed room is quite small, and there's no space to open your luggage, except to use the entrance way, and the bathroom shower stall is so small that I have a hard time getting into it (the door swings inward so you have to squeeze into the corner in order to close the door). The location of the hotel is about 10 mins walk into the small soi (look for the King and I massage) from the main street. Ok if you don't have heavy suitcase to carry. But the up side is it's pretty quiet, so even if you are on the lower floor, you don't hear noise from outside.
And keep in mind the courtesy tuk-tuk only takes you to right in front of the main street, not to the BTS station or anywhere else. Didn't use the pool as I was only there for a night. Basically it's good for short layover, or budget travellers.
This was not my first time staying in this property. Always love the friendliness of the staff. I wanted a window room (special upgrade fee baht300 per night) but the one i had booked actually got no window (actually a small window). After comparing the room i decided to stick on my booking. At the end the staff surprised me to upgrade me two bigger windows' rooms. Love the gesture. Would definitely come back for next trip.
