Apartment-style rooms come with with mod cons and skyline views at this urban retreat on Sukhumvit Road

The Look

Light, bright spaces, from the lobby and reception all the way through to the rooms and suites, feature contemporary decor, clean lines and tall picture windows. Occasional splashes of color — an abstract painting here, a colored glass vase there — brighten up an otherwise unobtrusive palette of gray, white and wood tones. In line with the long-stay design concept, facilities lean toward the practical and homely, with thoughtful additions such as fully equipped kitchenettes in the comfortably furnished in-room dining areas. Occupying the 26th to 42nd floors of a modern skyscraper, every room offers sweeping views of Bangkok’s skyline.

Bed and Bath

Spacious guestooms are dressed in soothing neutral tones, with carpeted floors and wall-mounted televisions with more than 40 cable channels. All bathrooms come with a bathtub, which is separate from a generous shower cubicle in the larger rooms and suites. Toiletries are Chatrium-branded, and vintage-style faucets hover over sunken sinks framed by black granite counters. Higher room categories also come with a washer/dryer.

Emporia restaurant offers Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner, including a scrumptious midday dim sum feast. The alfresco terrace on the seventh floor is surprisingly green, with lush tropical gardens, a huge freeform pool and a well-equipped glass-fronted gym complete with free drop-in fitness classes. The brand new branch of Thann Sanctuary Spa is also on the seventh floor, a minimalist haven with a skin analysis room plus six treatment rooms, where skilled therapists use the brand’s own range of all natural products.

Excellent accommodation - Excellent location

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The living area comprised a large lounge area, an eating area and kitchen. The large bedroom had an en suite bathroom. There was a television in both areas. The kitchen was very well equipped. The suite had recently been redecorated with new carpets and furnishings. Air conditioning was easy to control and very effective. An ironing board and iron was supplied.

We were on holiday and we didn't use the kitchen a great deal, but it was very handy to be able to go to the supermarket on the fourth floor of the Emporium, buy food for lunch and prepare it in our kitchen. By the way one can visit the Emporium shopping centre without going outside.

Breakfast was included in our price and was great with a huge choice of dishes for both western and Asian tastes.

The staff were all helpful and our room was serviced excellently every day. The German manager made himself known to us and was friendly and efficient.

There was an excellent swimming pool area with plenty of seating around the pool.

I can't think of anything negative to say about the Emporium Suites but if I were being very picky I might say that the lifts were a bit slow.

I would recommend the Emporium Suites, particularly their excellent location near a delightful park, the Emporium shopping complex and the Skytrain.

Excellent for Family with kids, also connected to the mall and you can access the skytrain from the hotel.
Excellent location in Bangkok for shoping and enjoying Thai massage.
We also enjoyed the view from the balcony, we could see the traffic, the train, and the lights of one side of the city. TV chanells are good for sports including BeIn sports channels, English news and few movie channels are also included.
The kitchen is fitted with A washing and drying machine, microwave, Refrigirator and a stove. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but we had in room dining which is ok and reasonable priced. You can cook also as kitchen which is fully equiped including the dishes, pans, pots, cups..etc
