Light, bright spaces, from the lobby and reception all the way through to the rooms and suites, feature contemporary decor, clean lines and tall picture windows. Occasional splashes of color — an abstract painting here, a colored glass vase there — brighten up an otherwise unobtrusive palette of gray, white and wood tones. In line with the long-stay design concept, facilities lean toward the practical and homely, with thoughtful additions such as fully equipped kitchenettes in the comfortably furnished in-room dining areas. Occupying the 26th to 42nd floors of a modern skyscraper, every room offers sweeping views of Bangkok’s skyline.
Bed and Bath
Spacious guestooms are dressed in soothing neutral tones, with carpeted floors and wall-mounted televisions with more than 40 cable channels. All bathrooms come with a bathtub, which is separate from a generous shower cubicle in the larger rooms and suites. Toiletries are Chatrium-branded, and vintage-style faucets hover over sunken sinks framed by black granite counters. Higher room categories also come with a washer/dryer.
Emporia restaurant offers Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner, including a scrumptious midday dim sum feast. The alfresco terrace on the seventh floor is surprisingly green, with lush tropical gardens, a huge freeform pool and a well-equipped glass-fronted gym complete with free drop-in fitness classes. The brand new branch of Thann Sanctuary Spa is also on the seventh floor, a minimalist haven with a skin analysis room plus six treatment rooms, where skilled therapists use the brand’s own range of all natural products.

The location is great, when we arrive at the hotel, the staff see we are holding big luggage and come to help us immediately. Then we go to check in counter, apple and mango juice as welcoming drinks. It is very thoughtful. Room is big, tidy and clean. Excellent service, especially Sally, Wah and Pu. Wonderful experience here.

While we have visited Bangkok and some other States in Thailand (Phi Phi, Phuket etc) this Country is not New to Us so We planned for the Trip accordingly !!
While earlier having visited other properties at Asok, Nana and Siam we choose the Quiet yet easily approachable area called Phrom Phong and in this area the only Good Choice for a Hotel with All Facilities and a Small Kitchenette was Emporium Suites !!
Since we were 3 Families we took 3 seperate Rooms as we needed the 3 Kitchens for 3 Children's and it suited us well....
We also booked a Pick Up from the Airport to the Hotel from the Hotel itself and it costed us around 2500 Baht for a Big Mini Van which could accommodate 6 Adults and 3 Children along with our Luggage of 6 Big and 3 Small Bags easily !!
The Booking Process was Easy as we booked it from the Hotels Own Website but it was a Smooth Process and it had an Option of Refundable Booking and we took that Option as it provided a Flexibility to the Consumer !!
I tried contacting the Hotel as we wanted to Confirm the Taxi and also Inform the Concierge Desk regarding the 3 Occasions we were celebrating on this Trip, My Younger Daughters 1st Birthday, and both our Brothers Wedding Anniversary and I badly wanted the Hotel to Do something Special for Us and Oh Boy was I glad....
It was a Bit difficult to interact with the Hotel via Emails due to the Language Barrier but after a Few Hit and Trials I was able to contact (Via TripAdvisor and Facebook) Mario who is working with the Hotel in a Senior Capacity...Mario Spearheaded all my interactions to the Hotel...He single handedly made my entire Trip a Huge Success....We all got what we wanted...Both Mine and my brothers Room was Decorated with Flowers for our Wedding Anniversary and we got Wines to Celebrate the Occasions while we also got a Small Cake to celebrate my Daughters First Birthday all this ON THE HOUSE Hotel Took Care of It...I think this is a Deed Worth Mentioning about the Hotel and it's Staff who go to the Extra Mile to Make the Stay for a Customer so Enjoyable and Wonderful and I shall never forget it....I am also aware that these are available only on Availability and Oh Boy was I glad it was possible for Me !!
At the Airport, the Hotels Taxi was Easy to Spot as there was a Lady Holding our Placard with our Details and she escorted us to the MiniVan that was standing Outside so in Short we didn't have to wait at all...I also would like to Point out that at the Airport we got Help from the Authorities for our Visa Process because we had small children all you have to do is Ask else it takes a good amount of time to get the process rolling. The journey from the Airport to the Hotel in the early Morning also took us 1+ Hour which gave us enough time to get a Power Nap and decide our Days Itinerary !!
The Check in was Comfortable too, all one had to Give was Our Passports and Our Booking Details and they even Helped us with the Early Check Ins because of Children and we were in our Rooms in No time. Our Rooms as you can see were decorated for our Arrival with Roses and Wines and all that we had asked it made us Smile and relaxed !! Another thing worth mentioning was that we had asked for 3 consecutive Rooms on same floor and we got 2 Rooms together while the 3rd one was just a Room away so they tried the Best they could !!
The Rooms were pretty nice with 2 of Our Rooms having Balconies while one was a Corner Room did not have any Balcony on the 24th Floor..2820 and 2823 had Balconies while 2832 did not have a Balcony it was a Corner Room as described by me....Personally if you ask me I love Balconies so I would recommend that only !!
All the Rooms had items as listed below :-
1 Big Samsung LED TV but no External HDMI Connector all it could so was Mirroring,
1 Wooden Partition Door type thing dividing Kitchenette and Toilet at one side of the Entrance and the Bed and Storage on the Other Part ,
1 Coffee Table with 2 Wooden Fixed Chairs,
1 Sliding Study Chair with Backrest,
1 Queen Size Bed,
Ample Storage in the form of 2 Big Clothes Cupboards and 6-8 Big and Small Drawers with all kind of Storage facility for us,
1 Electronic Safety Box,
1 Modern Stylish Study Lamp
1 Alarm Clock Cum Bluetooth Speaker
2 Bed Lamps (Yellow),
1 Dental Kit,
1 Very Cute Child Kit (On Request),
1 Temperature controller on the wall
1 Child Cott (On Request)
1 Basket of Fresh Fruits
1 Ironing Table and 1 Press
1 Umbrella for Rains
1 Shoe Shine And other Knick Knacks
1 Hair Dryer
While all of these things were there, the rooms Decor was very nice with Artefacts end Paintings adding to the Suttle Theme of the place !!
Kitchenette had a lot things as well :-
1 Sharp Refrigerator (Big)
1 Hot Water Kettle
Multiple Tea Bags,
2-4 Bottles of Mineral Water
1 Emergency Torch
1 Sharp Microwave (Medium)
1 Toaster for 2 Breads
1 Teka Pull Out Chimney
1 Teka Electric Cooking Range (2 Burners)
1 Teka Electric Oven (Big)
1 Paid Mini Bar items in Fridge,
To start making Food per se one needs Utensils of course but surprisingly there were no Utensils At All when we arrived to the Rooms so we requested for them for all Rooms what else....now we would have ideally liked them to have promptly kept it before us knowing well that we were with children and would have to make Food right away, Anyways our utensils arrive they gave us things like :-
Spoons & Forks
Now, for a functioning Kitchen there are some things that they did not give which became a bit of a problem was :-
Scrubber and Cleaning Fluid :
Now even though they used to Clean all Dirty Utensils as a part of the Cleaning Service whenever you went out, but with small children you need to make Food 2-3 times a Day hence you need to re use utensils sometimes in the Same Hour so we asked the Service Staff for cleaning fluid and they said they didn't have even though we asked them for it explicitly...We had to procure it from 7X11 the scrubber and Cleaning Fluid and Had to leave leftover there only after use,
Cooking Oil / Salt and Pepper :
Generally the Kitchenettes we have been to across Continents provide us with Some Condiments like Salt & Pepper and Cooking Oil because since we would only be needing some for our short stay and these things don't come in small packings so Hotels provide it, so we bought Oil and Salt and had to leave it at the Hotel while coming back due to Weight Issues !!
Breakfast on Weekdays were till 10.30 AM while on Weekends was till 11 AM served on the 7th Floor below...I personally loved the Breakfast as they used to serve all Local Thai and International Food like Spicy Pork and Beef dishes along with a Full Range of Meat Products, Milk and Cereals, Rice, Chilly Soups (Soup Station LIVE), Omelettes (LIVE STATION), Juices, Cheeses, Cold Cuts, Sausages, Bacon, Whole range of DESSERTS like Sweet Buns, Croissant, Sweet Breads, served along with Hot Tea and Hot Coffee at your table !!
Our Rooms 2420, 2423 and 2432 were Right opposite FIRE EXITS and SERVICE areas so one could see meeting of Whole Service Staff at times happening inside opppsite Rooms of course when one came out of our own Rooms and although it did not pose any such problems but if one is able to get Rooms that do not overlook service areas or Fire Exits that maybe nice too but remember Your Views may be different from the Window so one can accordingly decide !!
SLOW RICE COOKER :
We carried a small Rice Cooker as we needed to make Porridge for my 1 year old child....That came in Handy as there was nothing like a Cooker in the Kitchenette so we carried it along with Us from Home....I would like to point it out that this is One Thing that may come in Handy of Travelers when travelling with small children and they shouldn't even think and Carry one in their Luggage !!
JETS in the Toilets :
Happy Welcome Change from all other Toilets in Bangkok but the Water Pressure in them was very low and it could have been Super Nice if they could have made the Pressure a bit more making us happy too,
Emporium Suites is Connected to the Emporium Mall and the New Luxury Mall EmQuartier so for all your shopping and food cravings you will have plenty to shop and eat here....We went to EmQuartier to Shop as they had all the Luxury Brands and there is also this Food Court in the Basement of the EmQuartier Mall serving Local Food as well as small Kiosks with other international foods too....We went there to eat Dinner the second day....Remember the Last Order for the Food Court is also 10.30 PM and it closes by 11 PM completely...
Personally all of us LOVED the Food Court at TERMINAL 21 which is also a Huge MALL which is just a few BTS Station away from the Phrom Phong Station...If you are looking for the Fastest way to Travel in Bangkok then you can't go wrong with BTS as it's connected to all the Malls via Sky Walks making them the fastest way to get to any place but for convenience you could also use the UBER altenate in Bangkok called GRAB which is Very Cheap & Super Easy to Install on Phones and all you need is a Local Thai Number (Data+Calling) which you can take from the Airport for like approx 300 Baht from Kiosks of DTAC, TRU or AIS all you need to give them is your passports for verification and you'll get a TOURIST SIM CARD !!
NEARBY LOCAL SHOPS :
The Hotel has a 7X11 nearby which is like just a few metres away all one has to do is come down walk Left towards the Market sorts and you shall see 7X11 as well as Family Mart which is also their Local Store...Don't miss to buy Fresh Fruits & Corn from the Local Kiosks as they are Fresh and Super Tasty and I surely recommend it...Specially love the Pineapple, Water Melon, and Melon....
There is this Pork and Rice Shop, I think its name was Great Shanghai Restaurant (Accredited) or something it served Pork and Fish as well as Chicken dishes somewhat like Packed Meals all the Local Thai people were eating there and it was a very busy place and we tried from there it was one of the best local meals we have had there....it's hardly like 40-80 Baht per dish served along with Rice....and we tried almost all dishes they were all Super duper tasty....Don't miss this Shop...also there are local food stalls nearby serving Local foods on the Roads so don't miss those as in Bangkok most Street Food are Tasty and Hygenic too !!
BALCONY were not cleaned :
The Balcony in my Room was not very Clean and not once in my stay of 4 days did the Hotel Service Staff cleaned it...Now not that I was using the Balcony at all but a clean environment makes the customer probably happier and if you are Cleaning the Rooms cleaning the Balcony is not that difficult !!
My Room Keys also got Deactivated 2 times I guess keeping it near to the Mobiles also triggers the wiping of the Data on the Card Strip so try to keep the Phone and Keys seperately else you may have to go to Reception or call the Reception to get New Keys activated !!
SWITCH PLUG POINTS : There are ample PLUG POINTS in the Room and all you need is a Converter as these are 2 pin Plugs and most EU and US plugs are 3 pins so carry a Converter that will help in charging your Phones,Cameras, Laptops etc...I generally take a Multi Strip and 1 Multi Plug so that I can Plug all devices from 1 Strip and so I require 1 Plug only...But with Children we carry Sterilizer Device also so we carry 2-3 Multi Travel Adaptor that may come in Handy at these places !!
WiFi is Strong and Good brought to our Rooms via Cisco Routers as I could have seen, the Speed is Nice and you can browse easily....you can get the Details from the Reception Desk when you check in to the Hotel,
For Day Trips with Children the Hotel has Inside a Huge Park along with a Huge Swimming Pool, I forgot the Floor it was 11th or something...I went their with my Family in the morning and it was very Peaceful and calming this area also has a Swimming Pool and it was Fun to Swim here...Great View too !!
There is this Local Community Open Park right besides the Hotel which can actually be seen from our Rooms...it also has beautiful landscape greenery, Rides for the Children with Soft Turf (if they fall they don't get hurt), Fountains and a whole lot of things....Highly recommended for children to come here and spend some time in the Day specifically !!
Tip : With Children one has to keep extra Garbage Bag also so insist on an Extra Black Polythene Bag since you may have to use it in cases Children decide to do Naughty things !!
Tip : Use Weighing Machine put inside the Toilets for weighing your Baggage so that you may not have unpleasent surprises at the Airport !!
Tip : Don't Use Tuk Tuks for travelling instead use Grab which is a UBER alternate...Cheap and Secure too!!
