Nice Hotel

A short trip to Bangkok. Stayed 1 night in this hotel and 2 nights in another hotel. The hotel is close market area, with shops and restaurants, but the traffic in Bangkok was terrible, the streets are so noisy at night. The hotel was good with large and comfortable room (need more power outlet though), staffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good.

Great stay

We just spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel. We found all staff very helpful and friendly. We got early entry prearranged to our room and check in was quick which was much appreciated after travelling for almost 20 hours!
The room was on the 16th floor. Big and spacious with a great view looking into a temple and Bangkok.
The bathroom had separate shower and bath with full toiletries.
Breakfast was plentiful and the bar welcoming after a long day discovering Bangkok’s sights.
We didn’t find the location an issue, enjoyed walking around the local shopping centre and market, lots of places to eat etc around too. The sky Trainline is just a quick 5-10 minute walk which we used everyday we were there.
Can’t understand others complaints about the hotel looking ‘old’ or ‘shabby’! For a 4 star we found it decent and had no complaints.
If we were to return to Bangkok we would most probably stay here again.

Absolute rubbish

The staff are really nice here and welcoming. However, a few things have happened which I’m totally baffled about. We spent the day at the markets to come back and find half our belongings taken out of closed bags - why are staff going into our room and rummaging through our things? Also, we asked for an iron which also magically disappeared. I ordered some grilled chicken off the room service menu (only gluten free meal on there) with extra salad, which they said was fine but I would be charged more. Yet when the meal arrived they said they couldn’t do the ‘extra salad’. Pretty sure a lettuce leaf isn’t going to go a miss in Bangkok. Also, when we got back from the market our room smelt like pure musky damp which was utterly disgusting. Nevertheless, koi samui was nice.

Place is not so bad, a bit old but good service.

Came here for business trip, the hotel is a bit old, all the lamps are manual switches attached to them, so have to walk to lamps and switch them off before I sleep. Other than that it was good. Big and spacious room. Room service was delicious!

Friendly, welcoming

I stayed on two separate occasions in May June 2019 as a stopover
There is always a doorman to welcome you to and when leaving the hotel - I never once had to open the door myself.
Friendly staff, always ready to offer assistance, good service, excellent room, bed, bathroom and all for a very good price.
Great in house restaurant - awesome breakfast
I was given a late check out at no extra cost
Very happy and I would return to this hotel when next in Bangkok
