The newly opened Marriott Marquis is all cool lines and elegant furnishings. Just like all great cosmopolitan hotels, it also offers a stunning view of the area around it. Right next to Queen’s park, rooms here offer a soothing view of the pocket of greenery within the buzzing city.
Impressive from the moment you walk through the vast lobby, you’ll find your stay memorable and enjoyable. Touches of traditional Thai design adds a unique flavour to the glitzy space, glimmering alongside towering gold columns and elegant, reflective wall panels. The rooms and facilities are equally lovely – spacious, state-of-the-art spaces designed with your comfort in mind. You’ll love the hotel’s spa, swimming pool and fitness centre, as well as the stellar array of dining options.
But one can’t stay in Bangkok without exploring the streets! Thankfully the hotel’s central location puts your right in the midst of the action. You’ll have the city at your fingertips with the best shopping centres, such as the EM District, and Phrom Phong BTS station a 10-minute walk away.
How to Get There
We had a lovely weekend, thanks to Marriott Marquis Hotel. Fantastic gym, pool, yummy breakfast and a great location. 5 minutes walk to Emporium mall via lovely Queen’s Park. 5 minutes walk to BTS station. Just 40 minutes drive to airport. Perfect!
My husband and I would throughly recommend The Marriott Queens Park.We would particularly like to thank Mr O from The Buffet Restaurant for his considered Kindness to us .The staff serving us at the Executive club also need to be thanked for their service. It is a large hotel with the benefit of a park at the rear of the hotel
This luxury place is located in the heart of downtown Bangkok along the Sukhumvit road and presents a picture of peace amidst the city's always- on- the- move populace. The splendidly showcased foyer, dotted with silver works of art in a gold and crystal ambiance, is matched by the warm reception and a smooth check in at the hotel.
The room on the 33rd floor was spacious and boasted of all the amenities a trip weary traveller needed. The housekeeping had been considerate and kept a platter of fresh fruits. The min bar was well stocked.
The view of the city, particularly at night time was beautiful. Streetlights and minimal traffic gave it a glittering look. The city appeared to be on the move night long.
Breakfast in the m club was delicious and the hostess ensured that we partook of everything. The place was so relaxing that most of our time was spent in the lounge, snacking or sipping tea. The huge lobby lounge was another good place to enjoy tea or coffee with friends. The Siam tea room and candy and cookie place had an exotic collection anybody would want to pick up.
The convenient location in the heart of the city equalizes travel time to most of the sights and shopping points. The Emporium and Terminal 21, located close by, are venues for the stylish. Don't forget to pick up a hand-stitched suit from one of the renowned tailors who can conjure up a finished piece with 24 hours.
We enjoyed our stay at Marriott courtesy the warmth and helpful care by the staff who went a step ahead to make our stay memorable.
