The Lowdown

Thailand’s exhilarating capital may seem a far cry from the tranquil beach settings the country’s known for, but amid the captivating clamor of this urban hub, you’ll find captivating sights of another sort – the historical and cultural sort, to be exact. From monumental memorials and the open houses of art collectors to artifact-filled markets and gilded temple spires, Bangkok’s many treasures deserve serious exploration, too.
Aetas Bangkok is located right in the city center, just a short walk from two Skytrain stations, waiting to whisk you toward the Grand Palace, Wat Pho or an energetic night market. At this newly opened hotel, you can expect a bevy of contemporary comforts, from the fully equipped fitness center and tranquil spa to the sixth-floor swimming pool. When it comes to dining, choose from the restaurant’s à la carte and buffet options, a casual bite in the lobby lounge or a health kick at the poolside bar.

Aetas Bangkok’s Deluxe rooms are all about elegant simplicity. Modern furniture, fixtures and fittings combine with floor-to-ceiling windows, affording you excellent views over the city. The en-suite bathroom benefits from a separate bathtub and state-of-the-art shower cubicle, complete with water jets and a rainfall shower.

Moments Restaurant offers both à la carte and buffet options, with a menu that incorporates Western, Middle Eastern and Asian influences. Pause Lobby Lounge is open from 9am to midnight each day and offers a casual ambience, complete with a terrace area and views over the city. Time Out Pool Bar is set by the outdoor pool on the hotel’s sixth floor, with a menu of light meals and healthy drinks.

Aetaspa is located on the hotel’s sixth floor and is open from 9am to 10pm daily. There are five treatment rooms, each equipped with relaxing low lighting and scented oils, and a menu of rejuvenating treatments, which include traditional massages and revitalizing facials.

Aetas Bangkok is located on Sukhumvit Road in central Bangkok, just a 10-minute walk from Ploen Chit and Nana BTS Skytrain Stations. Wat Pho and the Grand Palace are around 30 minutes away by car or Skytrain. You’re also just a short way from CentralWorld, the largest shopping mall in Southeast Asia.

We booked a room with lounge access for one month holidays. since 30 Years i am visiting Bangkok for holidays. The Hotel i found and booked in the Internet.I did not Know it before.Due to an accident we had to extend to a 2 months stay. the hotel staff is extremely friendly and happy. I felt like being part of a family. When I went for Breakfast i already got the feeling to be somebody special. and this feeling i had the whole day...you could ask for anything and there was never a "NO". Thanks to everybody for this unforgettable Hotel-stay. Special thanks to the lovely the Room cleaning lady, to the ladies serving me every morning the coffees, the staff working in the Lounge Thank you Munich, all my favorites (everybody knows them) and the GM.

Plush Hotel, Huge Luxurious Rooms

Stayed 3 nights with my wife in a very large Deluxe room in Oct 2018. I pre-warned them that it was our anniversary so we received an upgrade to a Deluxe room then a lovely cake & some flowers were brought to our room. The room was massive with a large bathroom with bath & separate walk-in shower. The king-sized bed was very comfortable with good, quiet air-con so we slept well. My only complaint was that the black-out curtains didn't overlap the walls so the room was light at the crack of dawn. Many hotels fail at this! There's a nice, refreshing pool with sunbeds but it's mostly in the shade in the afternoon but we managed to find a space in the sun. They have a free shuttle to the nearby sky train station which we used to get to Sukhumvit Soi Cowboy & Siam Square in the opposite direction. Overall we had a great stay & recommended.

Such a lovely hotel. I was here by myself, stayed for 7 days and they helped with everything I needed. Room service was fast and good. Breakfast in the morning was amazing . I miss the fresh omelettes ! Double head shower was relaxing, bath is huge, bed is comfortable. Room is clean. Staff are helpful. Poolside is pretty. Wifi is fast. Went for a massage and only thing I would say is the spa needs updating, definitely been to 3 star hotels with better spas but overall my stay was amazing and used the tuk tuk free service to the sky train. Thank you

Most Enjoyable Stay in Bangkok

This was my first time in Bangkok and I am so happy with my hotel choice. This was a very clean, well maintained hotel with such friendly staff. The location was great for us because the street was not overly busy but it did have restaurants near by to walk to. We were down the street from a SkyTrain stop, and the hotel has a free tuktuk that picks up and drops off there if you don't want to do the walk.

The conceirge team was phenomenal. Very helpful with whatever we asked, and booked our activities with ease. A special thank you goes out to Andithep, he went above and beyond. I never felt like I was bothering them with my requests or questions. They seemed happy to help.

Our room was clean and neat, my only complaint is that there is no physical way to take a shower without flooding the whole bathroom floor. It was near impossible. Otherwise I did enjoy the rest of my room. Some people may find that mattresses to be too firm, but I didn't mind and I think I might have slept even better because it.

We did the breakfast buffet once because it was a bit over our daily budget for breakfast, but they do have a large arrangement of food with western and Asian cuisine.

I didn't really use any other their amenities so I cannot comment on the gym or pool.

If I return to Bangkok I will definitely stay here again.

if comeback to bangkok i will book again
