Bangkok, with its bustling markets and steaming pots of fragrant curries, is a truly intoxicating place. Staying at the chic Adelphi Grande, you’ll be well within reach of the city’s vibrant street life and cultural landmarks, such as the historic Grand Palace and the soaring Wat Arun and Wat Pho Buddhist temples. If that’s not enough for you, the hotel’s tuk tuk service and the nearby Phrom Phong BTS station will make sure you get where you need to go in the exhilarating Thai capital.

Café Grande, the hotel’s elegant eatery, serves up an international buffet breakfast from 5:30am until 10:30am every morning. Elsewhere, you’ll find delicious local restaurants and steaming street food for you to sample in the surrounding area.
Set on a small soi (road) which branches off Sukhumvit (Bangkok’s main road), you’re perfectly placed to enjoy some peace and quiet while still staying within reach of everything the city has to offer. Taking a stroll down Sukhumvit is highly recommended, with its endless array of shops, cafés and restaurants. And with Phrom Phong BTS station close by, anywhere else you want to go in the city is just a quick train ride away on Bangkok’s efficient skytrain system.
How to Get There
The room was clean and spacious. The staffs were friendly and attentive. They used buggy to send customers to the main road and half way although the tourist was not from their hotel, they still stopped to offer them a ride.
Location is very close to commercial area and train station.
Hotel was clean and reasonable price, so recommended generally.
Unfortunately, could not enjoy pool and hotel dining, because of under innovation.
Whenever I travelled to Bangkok, I like to stay at this hotel. Excellent service, and all staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. I always enjoy their breakfast food spread. It is quite a distance to walk from the hotel to main road. But I take it as an exercise.
Hope to stay in this hotel again.
This is my 2nd stay with Adelphi. It fits with my location requirement which is to be close to both the MRT & BTS stations making travel relatively easy. Bikes and cars aren't exactly the best ways to travel in Bangkok.
There is a Tops supermarket at the beginning of the soi so that is a great convenience and the Phrom Phong BTS station is some 300m from the main road.
The hotel is good in that the rooms are well equipped and reasonably large. The washer/dryer requires less luggage and I find this ideal.
Breakfast was part of my pkg but much of what they serve is pork to cater to the Jap clientele but I am generally comfortable with eggs and toast. But they should cater to others too.
Room service is on time and this is something I am particular about. Staff are attentive and good at what they do and
Tippy, Jame and Koi deserve special mention
I am sure I would return in future.
The hotel is very old and need to walk around 10 mins to the bts station. Quiet and dark street if you walk back to the hotel at night. The hotel room’ s door is low security. You can double lock the room. Water temperature in the shower room is very unstable, cant adjust to the mild temperature. Totally mess stayed experience.
