Birthday trip with my young granddaughter.......
Reviewed 1 day ago

My granddaughter and I checked into the Hilton for the beginning of her much awaited birthday trip to the Magnolia Silos, stores, bakery restaurant , etc. I requested a room with 2 queen beds (in advance and confirmed, by the hotel on the day of arrival) however, upon checking in (Friday) and opening the door of the room, it was 1 king bed. I went to the desk immediately and I was told there were no rooms with 2 queen beds available, period. After much discussion with the desk person and getting nowhere I asked for a manager. Jennifer was very helpful and apologized but there were no rooms with 2 queen beds. She promised they would move us the next day and gave us a coupons for breakfast in their restaurant. True to her word there was a 2 queen room available the next afternoon and we moved. For the next 2 nights we listened to the air-conditioner banging and clanging all night/day. I reported the issue and was assured it would be repaired while we were out for the day. Nope, still so noisy it was unreal. We checked out (Monday). Bottom line, we had a nice time at the Magnolia sites we visited but will not be staying at this hotel again, The rates are high (over @$200. a night) and for this price I expect a whole lot better experience. Not happy.

Baylor Hilton Hotel

This hotel is is a perfect location if you are visiting Baylor or wanting to explore downtown. The hotel is older but clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The Restaurant Breakfast staff were so wonderful and nice.

Tired Rooms
Reviewed 1 week ago

This hotel is in a great location and carries the Hilton name but to be honest the rooms need some help. The rooms need a deep cleaning and some freshing up. The a/c moaned and sounded like a crying child as it turned off. Made for an interesting night sleep.

Magnolia stay
Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed at the Hilton and it was a very convenient walk across the street to the free trolley that goes back and forth every 15mins and around downtown. The only problem was staff could’ve been a little friendlier and the first night one of our sheets was dirty which is never pleasant to discover at 10:30p.... part way through our stay there was a water leak of some sort on our floor and it STUNK like stinky wet socks in the hall and they had big fans going... not sure what happened. The building itself was fine, pool and courtyard area looked nice and the restaurant was decent but a little over priced.

Perfect in every way!

We spent almost a week at the Waco Hilton and it far exceeded our expectations. The hotel was spotlessly clean, room service was prompt and delicious, the executive lounge was well stocked and very convenient, the room was clean and very comfortable. Housekeeping was outstanding. Highly recommended!
