Everyone here has been wonderful and welcoming. Especially Leveta and Carly! The shuttle driver (sorry, didn't catch his name) was helpful with recommendations to local shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Great Hotel...BUT...

Ok- service is really good at this hotel. However why is it we have be subject to Fox News on every station? The slant that news station has on politics is really bothering and we don't need it crammed down our throats. Maybe have each of the news stations and not a monopoly with Fox News.

I was traveling with my wife and 5 year old daughter. Due to a missed connection, checked in only past midnight and yes we had missed our dinner. Upon arrival, Front desk agent Michelle was very sympathetic and went out of her way to speak with Terry who is the manager to enquire about possibility of some food for our daughter. Terry soon emerged with some packs of chips and cookies. Michelle and Terry were so helpful. Next morning Terry was again there at breakfast and offered us a complimentary breakfast since they could not serve meal last night. So wonderful..apart from this Mohan at restaurant was very attentive and helpful. If you are visiting Dallas, this is the place to stay where real human work and make it great.

Lousy service; nice rooms

We were staying here for a dance competition, and it was as if the hotel had no idea how many people would actually show up for the event...or they were just woefully unprepared to deal with the crowd. I booked 2 doubles to check in at 3PM Saturday. First sign of trouble was a complete lack of parking and instructions to park across the freeway and shuttle over from another hotel - not cool to make paying guests do that while many people were just there for the day. Then they tried to put me in a king room, but I didn’t want my daughters or me to have to sleep on the pull-out couch. They said they wouldn’t be able to get me two doubles until at least 4 PM, which defeated one of my main reasons for getting the room: providing my daughter a place to change and prepare for competition. I’m not one of those “dance moms”; I just expect that when I reserve a room, the hotel will have a room ready at check-in time. The girl at the desk did not apologize - just kind of shrugged and told me to check back. When I checked back an hour later, both girls at the front desk were selling sodas and candy bars and pretty much ignored me standing there. Then when they did check me in, they gave me the key to the wrong room. Finally got checked in - room was clean and spacious. In the morning we had the buffet breakfast. It was OK, but no one refilled our drinks even once, and when the buffet ran out of syrup, I waited 20 minutes for them to bring more. Like I said, they just seemed unprepared to lodge and serve so many people.

I had an amazing experience at this location and the waitress Kimberly who looks exactly like Janet Jackson is phenomenal she has a great personality and great customer service if anyone is ever in the area stop by an give her a visit
