Great for a quick getaway
Reviewed 1 month ago

I needed a quick getaway and was able to get a great rate at the Sheraton. Very courteous and welcoming staff.Upgrading the reservation from 2 queens to a king at check in was not a problem. Loved that check out the next day wasn't until 2pm and took full advantage of that. Bed was extremely comfortable but the room was a little tight for a king room. Not a big fan of the walk in showers with half glass enclosure and wish that hotels would spend the extra money for at least a barn door glass enclosure. Nice selection on the bath products. Very soothing. Didn't visit the restaurant but there are great choices within walking distance and plenty within a few miles. Would make another reservation if I was able to get a great deal again. Don't think I would be willing to pay full price.

Basic accommodations

The hotel was decent and the room comfortable enough. I hate the trend of walk in showers with no door and the cleaning staff was stingy in replenishing soap and coffee but those are my only real complaints. Good restaurants within walking distance though the surrounding area did not seem very pedestrian friendly (spread out, not well lit).

Not what you would expect from a Sheraton!

Wow! This Sheraton was a very big disappointment!

The rooms:
- on the smaller size. We had a king bed and there was barely enough space for our luggage around the bed. Very tight.
- Pillows are too soft. They have no structure so very bad for the neck
- Our door didn't close well on its own. You have to pull it to ensure it actually locks.

The food:
- Not good! I wouldn't say terrible but not good.
- Breakfast buffet is too basic. Bag scrambled eggs, pork sausage and bacon and roasted potatoes with no seasoning. They were so bland! Also, we had the oatmeal and on one of the days it was salty! Plain is fine, salty is not!
- Had dinner in the restaurant and I had a hamburger. The beef patty had no flavor. Just plain beef. I had to put salt, pepper and ketchup on it to be able to eat it.

The service:
- Service is great. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful
- Rooms were cleaned well
- Restaurant staff are friendly and service is good.

No More Club Level Amenities at this hotel
Reviewed 5 months ago

I booked our room on on the fourth floor, (or Club Level) so my wife and I could enjoy access to the Club Level room as advertised on the website, and like we've experienced at other Sheraton Hotel around the country in the past. To our surprise, the Club Level room was closed and not accessible. We wasted the extra $20 we spent to enjoy "Club Level amenities". One amenity Sheraton did provide was room 406 that had an in-room air conditioner that constantly made a, "fan- blade- hitting- something- noise". The room was 74.5 when we arrived, so I set the thermostat at 67 before going to bed. In the morning the room temperature was 75.5. Neither my wife nor I had a very restful night. Also, we should have been advised at check-in that we wouldn't have access to the fourth floor club room.

Nicely appointed hotel. Quiet area. Good value for the money.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is clean and quiet. My only "complaint" would be that the pillows were too flat, but there were two per person, so that helped. The pillows could definitely be improved.
