How to Get There
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-in was great and there were no issues what so ever. The rooms, however, were a pretty outdated. The double rooms all had refrigerators yet the king rooms did not. That was very inconvenient for traveling with our baby. The bathrooms were the worst part of the room. The shower only had half a door, and water would get onto the floor every time. The vanities were really small and only enough room for one person. The one positive was that the beds were extremely comfortable, a staple of the Sheraton brand.
As for the breakfast buffet, it was highly disappointing. It consisted of a basic spread: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and an assortment of breads and cereals. The cost was $14.95 per person, about $10 too much. Lastly, the fitness center was excellent. There’s plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as dumbbells and a bowflex-like machine.
The Sheraton in itself certainly needs a renovation, if it wants to remain competitive in an such an up and coming area. It’s in such a nice area, with great local spots such as Edoko (sushi), Kenny’s Burger Joint, and plenty of other options.
Booked through Priceline, the hotel is convenient to everything in Frisco, but it is a little bit removed from the busy-ness of the main intersections. Our room was very clean and quiet. The exercise room was very clean and had well maintained equipment. Staff was friendly. We were obviously there at a down-time, so parking out front was not a problem but I can see where that could be more challenging if it was full. Our room only had a shower, so if you want a bathtub you may need to specifically ask if they have a room with one.
This is a subpar and dirty hotel that is not common for Frisco. It’s inexpensive when booking through Hotwire and is in a good location. However, we found silverfish in our bathroom. We were on the 1st floor next to the gym. Additionally, the beds are super uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel.
I needed a quick getaway and was able to get a great rate at the Sheraton. Very courteous and welcoming staff.Upgrading the reservation from 2 queens to a king at check in was not a problem. Loved that check out the next day wasn't until 2pm and took full advantage of that. Bed was extremely comfortable but the room was a little tight for a king room. Not a big fan of the walk in showers with half glass enclosure and wish that hotels would spend the extra money for at least a barn door glass enclosure. Nice selection on the bath products. Very soothing. Didn't visit the restaurant but there are great choices within walking distance and plenty within a few miles. Would make another reservation if I was able to get a great deal again. Don't think I would be willing to pay full price.
The hotel was decent and the room comfortable enough. I hate the trend of walk in showers with no door and the cleaning staff was stingy in replenishing soap and coffee but those are my only real complaints. Good restaurants within walking distance though the surrounding area did not seem very pedestrian friendly (spread out, not well lit).
