How to Get There
This Forth Worth Hilton it is within walking distance of the Fort Worth convention center. Many fine restaurants are also nearby. The hotel is clean and staff is courteous. We had some issues with the bathroom in the room however, that incident will not deter us from staying there again. It's our choice of hotels in the downtown area. We highly recommend.
Unless you are wanting to tour the hotel and see the historical pictures of JFK, go find a different hotel. The entire hotel was hot during the week I stayed at a conference. The rooms are not as nice as you would think for the price you pay.
I was here for a conference and training session. I had reserved a normal king room at the conference rate, however when I checked in I was upgraded to a suite on the executive floor at the same rate. This was a nice surprise and I enjoyed the benefits of the executive lounge all week. The room was very spacious and clean. Overalll experience was A+.
The first morning the whole hotel had no hot water, one elevator did not work. The tv would lose signal about every two minutes. The first remote did not work. And when we arrived there was only a 1/4 roll of tolet paper in the bathroom i waited an hour for someone to bring some up and finally found some on the maids cart.
Stayed here for 6 nights. Toilet wouldn’t fill, 1/2 of the outlets didn’t work. No ice machine in the hotel. Parking is overpriced . It does have history - - President Kennedy stayed here the night before the fateful trip to Dallas. Other than that, there are better options in the downtown area
