How to Get There

Abysmal service, unsafe rooms, never again.
I had a bag of toiletries and medication stolen from this hotel. The staff did not take my call seriously. They took 2 hours to send a security person (who didn't know how to do his job) to my room who did absolutely nothing (he didn't even walk into the room to look around). I have had to re-explain myself to at least 6 people from the hotel. The GM didn't apologize. I have multiple emails unanswered. NOTHING has been done, NOTHING has been reimbursed. I have wasted hours trying to help this hotel make things right and keep a customer, but I feel I might have to take legal action.
The basics you expect from a hotel are not met at the W Dallas. It is unsafe. Will never stay at this location again.
The room did not have a nice view but it was nice and confortable, the bathroom clean with al amenities needed, we wnt to the concert of Phill Collins and was nice to just be a 5 min walk to the concert, also the staf in front desk very nice and allways with a smile they would answer any questions or requirements
The GM Dan keeps his team smiling and working for it -- from the valet guys to the concierge to the turn down staff --- lots of smiles and positive interactions. Every time we asked for something, it appeared; in fact, my companion woke up with swollen legs after a long night. What showed up at our door? Compression socks. Now THAT is service. We attended a 2-night concert over the American Airlines Center and having the chance to walk back and forth and not fight the traffic? Priceless. I'll definitely be back.
