How to Get There
The hotel itself was nice and clean, the restaurant services and food was great, but we were disappointed for a couple different reasons... First off we picked this hotel to stay in because we were looking to be able to relax outside at the bar but the whole time we stayed there were no cushions on the benches so we were not able to do what we had planned. When we got to our room Netflix wasn’t working so I called down and let the staff know while I was on the phone I also requested 2 bathrobes they let me know they would send them up and have maintenance fix our connection, it was taking a while so we ended up leaving to eat when we got back Netflix was fixed, but there were no bathrobes no big deal but I called down and asked again and the lady told me that they don’t offer robes... I explained to her that it states on the information packet that they do and then she put me on hold for a couple minutes and then told me she would have them sent up ( we just found it strange). The thing that really bothered us though was the parking.. we had a difficult time getting in and out because the parking arms weren’t working and then we were charged for parking even though nobody even mentioned to us before that there would be a charge.
We were there visiting my boyfriend’s family and want something close to the airport. The hotel was easy to find, close to the Galleria shopping center and restaurants. We had a king size room which was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Didn’t hear noises from the hallways or other rooms. We visited the bar and the staff was great! Very attentive, prices for drinks were comparable to hotel bars. We never made it down to the complimentary breakfast, but when walking through the lobby it smelled delicious. Definitely would recommend this hotel.
I recently assisted in the planning of a conference held here and not only was our team completely satisfied with every part of our event (which included meeting rooms, meals, breaks, and overnight guest rooms), but our attendees' feedback was also overwhelming positive as well.
The location was ideal for our attendees, easily walkable to the Galleria, and short Lyft rides to area attractions for their down time. The hotel bar area, both indoor and outdoor, was a great open area for the attendees to congregate, socialize, and hang out if they didn't wish to venture away from the hotel.
The hotel has recently been renovated and the state of the art improvements in the guest rooms and the meeting rooms are top notch, but it was the service we received from Rob, J.W. and their entire team that pushed this event over the top. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful - from the banquet staff to the housekeepers and the front desk agents to the restaurant team and the bartenders - it was the interactions we had with these individuals that exceeded our expectations and left us with such a wonderful impression of this particular hotel.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a meeting or conference, and I will definitely stay there on my next visit to Dallas.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria . After a very bad thunderstorm in Dallas that took out most of the city’s electricity. I decided to get a room for the night. Did not know when the power would be restored at my home..so I contacted the Sheraton directly to make sure they had power. Scarlet answered the phone and said yes and it was quick & easy to make my reservation. The hotel was beautiful, friendly and very comfortable. Nice to grab a quick bite to eat and just relax after a stressful afternoon. Prices where reasonable for the room with 2 double beds and no price gouging for food and drink sometimes that happens at hotels. Would gladly stay there again and recommend this hotel.
We spent a night here unexpectedly due to the majority of Dallas being out of power after a storm yesterday.
We were very surprised with how nice the hotel looked. It's obvious the hotel has gone through some major renovations. The room was spacious and very well done.
If you like heavy comforters in your bed, this hotel has some of the heaviest we have ever seen at a hotel. We dislike beds with very thin sheets. A/C cooled well. Shower pressure was not the best but adequate.
We are Marriott Platinums and had access to the lounge. Appetizers and drinks were available in the evening and full breakfast buffet in the morning.
Great refreshed hotel
