How to Get There
The Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel was clean and my bed was comfortable. Just that the small snack shop was too expensive. something needs to be done about it. the room service breakfast was not bad but it was not superb too. meal is too expensive but overall the hotel was clean and nice
Beautifully appointed rooms with lots of thought to the modern traveler. Outstanding customer service from check-in, to room service, to restaurant staff. Historical attractions a short walk away. Great home away from home.
I was attending a convention with VP Mike Pence scheduled to speak at 11:00. As a World of Hyatt member, I expected there would not be a problem with requesting a 1 hour later checkout. I was wrong. There was absolutely NO flexibility. I had to leave VP Pence's address before it was complete to get back and check out. I understand that my room was booked for that night and needed to be cleaned, but I sincerely doubt that it was serviced during the 1 hour that would have allowed me to stay for the entire VP address. In the future, I will plan to stay at hotels where loyalty programs actually make a difference. This experience overshadowed everything else about my stay!
I recently spent the weekend in Dallas with friends and we chose this hotel. After booking we ended up having to bring one friend’s young child, who also has some special needs with us. The hotel was perfectly accommodating, and we all had a great time.
The hotel is lovely, clean, and well-maintained. We had excellent service from the moment we pulled up and met the valets, through check in, with the food services, and the housekeeping staff.
It also ended up being an excellent value for the price as well.
This hotel is really great. I will start about my gripe because I only have one really - not walking distance to much if anything worthwhile. There it is. That is all the negative I have. Oh and bad coffee in the kuerig, but others might like it.
I stayed in a City View King 22nd floor and it was an AMAZING ROOM AND VIEW!! It was a huge room and had a nice chaise next to the window with a laptop table. There was a legit desk, nice tile bathroom, a closet for my clothing, a safe, and a huge and very comfy bed!! Win!
It was Con of Thrones weekend and the hotel was easy to navigate. All the bars/restaurants are in a huge open atrium so easily accessible. There is a coffee shop and plenty of places to sit and hang out. I think the pool should stay open later and no rooftop access which was slightly disappointing, but otherwise all good. Food in the hotel was really good, but a bit pricey - not terrible. $14-17 average, but really good quality. The staff dressed in costume, decorated the hotel, gave us a themed drink menu, and more!! They really went out of their way and were super nice.
If I go back to Dallas I would 100% sure book again and I am a true hotel snob.
