How to Get There
So I stayed at the Grand Hyatt DFW unexpectedly after my flight to Seoul was cancelled due to weather. Obviously the location is excellent, especially if you are traveling out of terminal D at DFW, as the hotel is located directly before security. I stayed in a King room that had views overlooking the west complex of runways at DFW. There was no noise to speak of.
The room was well appointed and modern. with controls for the lights and shades/sheers at the bedside( which could be touchy at times). The bathroom was expansive, although the shower pressure left a bit to be desired. Wifi speeds were good.
Room service was punctual and offered a decent variety.
Staff was very kind and offered me an amenity bag on checkin as I was not able to retrieve my luggage. As it turns out, I had to stay a second night, and the staff made this seamless. I rented a car on my second day there and it was an approximately ten minute ride to the rental car facility.
I would not hesitate to stay here again if I find myself needing to overnight at DFW, and recommend it highly if you find yourself there as well.
Throughout my stay, I never had to ask a question. All of my needs were anticipated. I am attracted to hotels that offer clean, safe, well equipped state of the art equipment that is in good working order. The lemon infused water and chilled towels was a refreshing added bonus.
I attended a large meeting at the DFW airport Hyatt. It was extremely convenient. The meeting room was the right size and the food was excellent. My hotel room was very nice and clean. No hassle making it to my flight home. Check out was very easy.
If you’re needing a place to stay in Dallas and don’t have time to dilly dally, the Grand Hyatt DFW is an awesome choice. So convenient!
Room service was great. Housekeeping, not so much. I wish they had emptied out the trash cans prior to my arrival. Didn’t notice until way past bedtime.
I've stayed here twice in the last year, one night, for a meeting each time. Even though this is an 'airport hotel' its among the nicest I've stayed at anywhere. Fantastic room, great staff, creative food, and as convenient to the gates as possible.
