Passing through Dallas
Reviewed 17 hours ago

Booked this room for an overnight layover in Dallas. Requested and paid for a king sized bed but received two full sized beds instead. Not what i aksed or paid for. After a 3 hour delay and getting in at 1 a.m., I wasn't in the mood to call down and complain. I figured I would address it in the morning when checking out. During checkout, we were not even asked how our stay was, just rushed along and out the door. I expect more from this type of establishment. Extremely dissapointed.

So convenient!

So glad the hotel was conveniently located in the terminal. Made a day of tiring travel melt away. Next morning it was a breeze to catch the next flight home. The accommodations were beautiful modern style. No noise from the airplanes. Very quiet.

Another Quick Business Trip

This is my second experience with this Grand Hyatt property at the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport for a business meeting that included teammates from all over the country. I would enjoy my stay at this property, and the excellent service of its staff, regardless of its location but the fact that it is located at DFW, making it such a central fly in/fly out experience for business meetings, makes the Grand Hyatt DFW a fantastic choice for business. And I wouldn't hesitate to enjoy this property for a personal trip too.

Great location within the airport. The hotel is a bit pricey but nicer than the Hyatt Regency, which is also in the airport. The rooms are of great size and include bed, desk, safe, mini bar, and large bathroom. You can have a coffee maker sent to the room, but the coffee brand is Tully, which is OK but not great. The bed linens are fine, but could be of higher quality to match the room rate. The bath towels are good - not too soft, absorb water well. However, they are worn and need to be replaced as to the bathroom rugs. The view of the tarmac is fun and interesting. The furniture is a bit outdated and shows scratches. The hotel is in a great location if you want to stay at the airport. It just needs to be updated.
