How to Get There
This was suppose to be a romantic night, loving package deal. Way too much money for what you get. Champagne was not sweet, chocolate covered strawberries not worth the money spent. Turn down service was missing. I’d most likely stay down the street take the money save and go to a nice drink or Jazz bar instead. Pretty disappointed from last time I had stayed a an Omni.
My friend and I came here to visit Austin for his first time and he's the kind of person who wanted to do the touristy things and to hit up some bars. We ended up staying here.
It's just like any other hotel (IMHO). But it's better than most! The service was fine, the room was as clean as it could be, there was a pool, and it was close by to some areas!
We stayed for one night following a trip to schlitterbahn in New Braunfels. We traveled with family and booked a total of 4 different rooms. The lobby area was very nice, the pool looked nice and large and the staff seemed friendly. That’s probably the best I can say about this hotel. The wall paper was peeling around the corners throughout our room. The decor was tired and dated and the beds were very uncomfortable. The worst part was the bathroom. It is in desperate need of updating and deep cleaning. The shower had hair in it and felt very dark and dingy. There was a pipe in the ceiling of the shower dripping water. Had we not checked in late and been so tired we would have said something to management however speaking with family the next day they all said the same thing about their rooms as well. I hardly ever leave reviews but felt very strongly about leaving one about this hotel. Please don’t expect this to be a 4 star hotel. If I’m being VERY generous it’s a 3.
