Awesome heated indoor and outdoor pool Pool area is very large; we cant wait to come back during the summer. Enjoyed the stay. It was very comfy and clean. The location is great. Just came for leisure purposes. We hiked at McKinney Fall State Park and Wild basin Wilderness while we were there.

The benefit is in the amenities and detail

I’ve been here a few times, and it’s never been a bad visit. I do see where those looking for a more trendy or luxurious stay will be disappointed. It’s a dated hotel, BUT well kept and clean (which truly makes it a lot less ‘dated’ feeling).
Cheaper than downtown, and close enough to downtown that a Lyft ride is about 15 one way depending on how far you go.
The hotel has a large and welcoming outdoor/indoor pool with spa and fitness room. So no matter the weather you can find a spot to relax.
Equally spacious bar on site and many walkable dining options. Ask staff for local BBQ sweet spots, you won’t be disappointed.
Also, try summer Moon Coffee! feeling).

Not worth the rate!

Entirely too expensive to have a bathroom needing repair and find a bloody tooth in the bed the first night after checking in. Completely disgusting, my company will no longer use any Omni affiliated hotel!

An ok stay at an ok hotel

The hotel was an average hotel and an average room. The only part that made it good was the staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. My room was next to the storage room for the floor so there was lots of banging throughout the day.

Vince the Bellman, best part of the stay

I stayed at the hotel during SXSW for business, I had a booth during the entirety of the event, was coming from out of state and needed to send a large amount of boxes to myself at the hotel over the 10 days I was there.

The hotel itself feels rather "tired" and is in desperate need of an update and the front desk staff could use some training on customer service, Vince the Bellman made my trip so much easier. He made sure I received all of my packages, helped me get an emergency delivery, when I had a sign issue, remembered my name and was friendly and and always asking me if I was expecting anything that morning. It was nice to feel like someone was helping out after working multiple 10 hour days in a row.

If you stay here, and you need help, find Vince, he's the best! Also, the food was rather good too.
