How to Get There
This is an older hotel in the style of the Atlanta Hyatt with a large interior atrium making each elevator ride a fun adventure. This property is in excellent condition and the staff and service is first class. I was there for business meetings and the breakfast and lunches served us were very good. This is location is an easy walk to downtown Austin. I highly recommend this property.
Perfection but for two things. I felt food was overpriced and not extraordinary for the money. Second, the building structure facilitated noise from the bar as the rooms were on catwalks around a huge atrium. I was on the 12 th floor At night if there was very a noisy bar on the first floor I heard the noise in my room. I was annoyed by it but each day I went right to sleep as I was so tired. Management offered to change my room but I was just too tired. Hotel was still great.
Nice view and good location at south end of the bat bridge. Clean room, shower fine if you're child sized. A bit pricey for this level of hotel, but the location compensates. Thermostat allows individual control, but fan is loud and may blow on you all night, depending on your room.
