How to Get There
I am a Hilton Honors member and travel often on business. I decided to try this hotel as it looked artsy and still quite classy. It was awful for me. It did not feel or seem clean which left me uncomfortable and unable to stay the remainder of the nights as planned. I have never felt so dissatisfied with a Hilton brand hotel. I expected more. I will not be back ever and I am currently in Houston 1-2 times a month on business.
This hotel is very nice and the rooms are plush. The staff is friendly, very attentive, knowledgeable, great at giving instructions to attractions. This hotel is close to downtown attractions and historical buildings.
From check-in to check-out everything was 5 star. The age and nature of the availability of a few amenities keep the star rating of this hotel below what it should be. Rest assured that The Sam will meet and exceed your expectations.
