How to Get There
Having never been to Houston before, I was looking forward to this trip. The Hyatt Regency did not let me down. With over 30 floors in the middle of downtown Houston, this hotel is overwhelming.
Centrally located near many top line restaurants and eateries, the Houston Astros and the Houston Rockets, it offers many options every night.
The staff was top notch, the rooms clean (I had a corner room on the 25th floor). Shula's is in the Hotel and I have never had a bad steak there, while meal prices can be expensive, if you look, there are many options close by that offer a great dining experience without hurting your wallet.
Highly recommended, thank you!
Of the many hotels we have stayed at, paid un godly prices for their perception of whats cost worthy. The thing that stands out at Hyatt Houston was the incredible water pressure in the shower. You can have your fancy carpet, beds, vanities, etc. But if your shower spits water....you lose on all facets. But Hyatt Houston hits it out of the park with Shower Pressure......at least our room !!!
Beautiful Downtown Hotel!!! Hotel was in the heart of it all, with a walking distance to many great restaurants. Really enjoyed the rooftop heated pool. Would definitely come here again soon, the rooms were spectacular!
I was in Houston for our company General Electric training, and at the same time on holiday trip with my couple. Weve been trough many places in Houston, such as Space Center, Nassau BAy, Kemah, and Shopping Malls. My Couple and I also watched NBA game 2 western conference finals where the Houston Rockets showed there great game played with almost 30 points lead against Warriors, what a nice ball game! We enjoyed staying in Houston specially in Hyatt Regency which gives us full comport and a pleasant stay. Once again thank you for the Texan hospitality.
Wife and I traveled from Sacramento to see Hamilton in Houston. Stayed at the Hyatt Regency downtown. Great choice. The hotel is centrally located, accessible to everything. 5 blocks to the Hobby Center, walking distance to the Toyota Center and a 5 minute hotel shuttle ride to Minute Maid Park. Surrounded by nice restaurants and museums. Great hotel; nice, cordial staff and good price.
