How to Get There
My wife and I spent four nights here while in town for a conference. It was our first visit to Houston, and since the meeting was being held at this hotel and we were unfamiliar with the general area and lodging options, we chose to stay there. While not a fan of downtown hotels, we were not disappointed with this Hilton property. Our room was on one of the top floors with an amazing view. It was incredibly well furnished and the housekeeping service was spot-on every day. With our Diamond Level Hilton Honors status, we were able to access the lounge on the hotel's top floor. The view from there was incredible, especially at sunset. There was also a well-stocked breakfast for those able to visit the lounge, snacks and drinks available throughout the day, and a light dining option in the evening hours. Parking was a bit confusing at first since the hotel garage is actually located in another building right across from the back of the hotel, but once we had our bearings, getting in and out was no problem. A walkway from the hotel meant we didn't have to venture out into the heat to get to our vehicle. (There is also a connecting walkway to the convention center next door.) Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Everything about the property was to our satisfaction. Way to go Hilton Americas!
Everything about my stay at this location was just wonderful! I was in Houston for a conference and spent almost no time outside of the hotel and Convention Center so every meal was at the hotel and was surprisingly good! The staff from housekeeping, to the front desk, to the wait staff were over the top in service. The hotel is great for all your needs. You will not regret your decision to stay.
I chose the Hilton because of the location. It was next to the Toyota Center where my sister & I attended a concert. I quickly realized it was convenient to so many attractions(Discovery Green Park), convention center, baseball stadium...you name it. Our double queen room had a Park view on 13th floor (I requested it from a suggestion I saw on TripAdvisor). Very nice, modern with all the amenities.
Took my husband and our 2 teens to a concert for my husbands 50th birthday. The hotel was right across from Toyota Center. Everything was great including the Hilton! The only thing that could've been better were the pillows! That's it! My only complaint!
My husband and I stayed with 2 other couples for a long weekend. Our rooms were well appointed, were ready for early check in, and clean. The public areas were very inviting and worked well for when the six of us wanted to meet or just hang out. Splurge and purchase the breakfast at the hotel. Beyond good! Excellent service also. We attended the ELO concert at the Toyota Center which is just across the street. We did not rent a car for our visit but was able to walk most anywhere. There was not much shopping close by but several restaurants close by. Barbara was very helpful in making suggestions and making us reservations. Our stay was an overall wonderful experience.
