Top Notch!
Reviewed 2 days ago

My room was very nice and extremely clean. Modern, crisp and comfortable. Food delivered to the room after hours and in the restaurant for breakfast was great. The customer service is absolutely top notch! After leaving my pillow in the room, I called to find that they had retrieved. They even mailed it to me at no charge. Above and beyond! A great hotel in the perfect location for a downtown Nashville experience. Well done, Renaissance Nashville! I'll be back!

Came here on July 4th for a birthday trip and was pleasantly surprised. The sky bridge was awesome and the bartender had a smile on her face despite being very busy. The check in was great; staff was courteous and had plenty of knowledge of the area.
The lobby is under construction, which kind of stinks because it makes the whole area look very small and temporary. But I am sure when it is finished it will look better.

Downside- rooms are beginning to look very run down and the windows need to be cleaned outside.

Depends On What You Are Looking For

My recent stay at this hotel was not what I expected. First off, I will say that the lobby is currently under construction and perhaps when that is done at least one part of the hotel will look nice.
With that said, be prepared if you stay here. The rooms are worn and really showing their age. Upon check in I had to upgrade and the first room was small, dark with a terrible musty smell. I had to pay for the upgrade, which I understand, but, frankly as a hotel all your rooms should be clean. The windows were so filthy that in the first room it looked like there was a shade down.
When I checked into the second upgraded room the first thing I noticed was that the various things in the room were sticky, including the TV controller which was pretty gross. Housekeeping came everyday, but little to no cleaning when they did. There is a ton of potential in this hotel, but when they finish their lobby unless they do some maintenance on the rooms and the skybridge it wont be worth it, as people also remember their rooms. If you are planning ot sue the pool, deck is very small and really doesnt have the best amenities. Nashville is rather warm, so that is a consideration.
The positives- staff was friendly and always had a smile. The location is good as they are close to the main bar/club street. There is noise from that but it didnt bother me. There was a cute coffee trailor on the first floor which served coffee and little snacks. One item they may want to think about is having shuttles like the other area hotels. They offer shuttles for free or just tip t local places, this one does not. Again, seems like this hotel is in transition. For me, there would need to be some improvements before I would stay again. If you need something less expensive that the Omni or the JW, then give it a try. Just be prepared that it is a basic hotel and you wont get more than a somewhat clean room....

Great Getaway!!!

Some friends and I brought another friend when he was going through a hard time, and the service was impeccable! The staff gave us so many great recommendations and the hotel was so clean and nice! It definitely helped lift spirits! And when my bag was left, one of the security guys was amazing with helping me get it back (I think his name was Chad?). Would stay again!!!

Lost Password book

Thank goodness for such great service at Hotel Security when I left my prescious password book on the bed and then checked out. As soon as I realized what I has done, I called the hotel. Within a few minutes, I had a call back from Jenette in Hotel Security who offered to send the book by FedX that day. We had enjoyed our stay prior to the retrieval of my notebook, but that really topped off a great trip. Thank you Jeanette and the Renaissance Hotel. PB
