Staff and property need an upgrade

Way understaffed, when we arrived there was one valet and a big line of cars. There was no one to assist with luggage. Our room was fully decent but worn. The room service people were complete jerks. They would not honor the coupon I got at check in. Then had to be rude “if you just listen to me I will tell you. ....” I will stay elsewhere next time.

FedEx Forum Hotel

Every time I have an event at the FedEx Forum, The Westin is my first choice for an overnight stay. The Westin is hip and perfectly located. I choose an Executive Suite which are on the side facing the Forum with floor to ceiling windows. The room is spacious along with a large bathroom and very large walk-in shower. The Westin and the Forum always make for a great quick getaway.

In case you didn't get the memo, the Westin Memphis Beale Street is located as close to iconic Beale Street, the home of jazz and bluegrass and everything this side of country music, as you can get without being there. Located at 170 Lt. George W. Lee Avenue, it is a new and beautiful and modern 4-star hotel with 203 rooms and within walking distance of Beale Street, the FexEx Forum, Gibson Guitar Factory and the Rock 'n Soul Museum. It's all about location, location, location. If you're visiting Memphis to attend one of the many music festivals, the Westin Memphis Beale Street is the place to stay. My wife and I were just stopping for one night on our way home from New Orleans to Chicago. We booked a deluxe, one bedroom, large suite with 627 square feet, a king-size bed, mini-bar, 24-hour room service, iron and ironing board, writing desk, chair and ottoman, coffee maker, tea service, 32-inch flat screen TV with more channels that you can count and access to the fitness studio and 24-hour business center and Starbucks coffee. Frankly, all we were interested in was a good night's sleep, a tasty dinner and an early breakfast. We got all three. The hotel's Bleu Restaurant and Lounge was a culinary delight.

Convenient and Cozy!

A beautiful hotel that is right by The FedExForum which is very convenient. The hotel was nice and the breakfast food was very good. We didn’t have any trouble with our room or any workers. The hotel is located right by Beale Street (hence, the name) which is great as well.

Don't let them hold your credit card if you run a tab at the hotel bar. My card information was stolen and they tried to use it two days later to buy shoes and clothes online. Otherwise its a nice bar.
