How to Get There
Suits over look the Fedex Forum; very fun place to be in Memphis. I always look to stay here when i come to Memphis. last time I stayed for 3 nights and had lot of fun. Looking forward to checking it out next time I come to Memphis. If you are plannning on visiting ARK this is also a good place because you are close to the bridge.
We stayed two nights in this hotel. I recommend asking for a room with a higher floor due to Beale Street noise. This hotel looks directly over Beale Street. Property is well maintained, and comfortable rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful.
As a Platinum Elite member we used points to reserve this hotel for 2 nights. I asked whether an upgrade was available but was told the hotel was full. I actually checked online and plenty of rooms were available. The person on the desk just had no interest in trying to be helpful. Our room was ok but when we went to bed later we found bloodstains on the duvet cover. We spoke to Kimberley next day who was most apologetic and arranged for everything to be cleaned. She also said we would get our points back for that night......still waiting. Breakfast was a fiasco. We received vouchers for $50 each day. Very acceptable. The chef has a policy of preparing all courses at the same time as he is so busy. Cereals were served at the same time as the cooked food and the suggestion was that we should leave it on the table to get cold. Ridiculous. We asked for a fresh cooked course when we had finished the first. They were not happy. Why did our bill include a $9.50 service charge and thus the bill came to well over the $50? We were then supposed to leave a tip!!! We were disappointed.
