Combine business and leisure at this urban resort strategically located between Hyderabad and Secunderabad, twin cities in the southern Indian state of Telangana. The lobby sets the tone for the classic yet stylish design: You’ll find a Murano crystal chandelier, hardwood paneling and plush red chairs. The guestrooms offer a minimum of 360 square feet and come outfitted with air conditioning, velvet armchairs, comfy padded headboards and luxe extras including Egyptian cotton towels, pillow menus and ayurvedic toiletries by Forest Essentials. The amenities cater to a business clientele, with personal trainers at the 24-hour fitness center, a round-the-clock business center and free WiFi. On the food front, there’s a choice of three restaurants (Viva for Mediterranean cuisine; Grill for shaslik, rotisserie and brochette-style grilled meats; and Thai Pavilion for traditional Thai dishes). The lively lobby bar offers cocktails and DJ music.
In the Area
Hyderabad is an ancient city filled with mosques and temples, and the hotel is within walking distance of some of the area’s top sights; ask the concierge to arrange a tour of the nearby Spanish Mosque. Lace up your walking shoes for a visit to Golkanda Fort, a 12th-century granite fortress built on a 400-foot hill; plan a visit so you catch the nightly sound and light show (October to March), which presents the history of the fort with narration and music. The official residence of the rulers of Hyderabad is Chowmahalla Palace, which offers tours. View hundreds of vivid brocaded costumes worn by the royal family, as well as a vintage car collection, which features a yellow 1911 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost that has an interior customized with silver filigree.
How to Get There
I was expecting much more being a Taj Hotel but was a bit disappointed. Only plus of this Hotel is its location which works well for Business or Leisure visitors. Room, Corridors etc need a big focus w.r.t cleanliness. I would say value for money as we got breakfast and a major meal included in our package for 2 people for approx USD 90..if you consider this then it can be a good choice. The food taste is nothing to write home about but quite manageable. Hotel Staff is a big plus for this hotel they do take care of you ver well and honestly.
Bed and pillows are hard please try to change the beds and pillows
Apart from this everything is fine happy vth the service
Nice stay 100% recommend to my friend and i love Hyderabad my favorite place
I am huge Taj fan but this is the First Taj property that I stayed at is so unclean. Room429 - 6th July stay date. Firstly the room is so mushy n stale smelling just puts you off !Secondly the area of tea bag n kettle has so much dust - seemed like it was cleaned a month again! The washroom blind was so dirty with fungus , fittings are rusted in bath area , tiles not clean. Tea cup stain below the TV ! Tea sent in the morning room service was cold as ice ! Informed Neesha at reception she was indifferent and Urvashi the Manager was very busy to find time to speak to customers ! Breakfast was disappointing as well, Upma was half cooked n dishes were not filled on time
Was not what is expected out of Taj.Its like staying in a 3 star at the cost of a 5 star. From check in to room service to checkout every thing was below satisfactory. Did not find any TAJNESS the hotel brags about.Food is good although.
Hotel is not up to the mark in terms of service. Location and cleanliness was good but staff members need to be more polite and gentle. At the time of check-in they will treat you good but at the time of check-out they became rude and dont give attention.
