How to Get There
Spending the last night of our holiday at the Crowne Plaza was the best option for having a relaxed end of our holiday. Nice and service-orientated staff, huge and clean rooms and a good breakfast made our stay comfortable. We used the free shuttle to the beach, which was a very small van, which was running every 2 hours, so in case there are more people interested in going to the center I do not know how they are dealing with that. Location is a bit off the center, surely, it would be a nice walk, but anyway you are more dependent on public transport than at other places in Tel Aviv, which would make it not the first choice if visiting the city of Tel Aviv is the first thing on your agenda.
This is my favorite hotel in Tel Aviv, I have been here before both in business and with my family, I will go there again. First, There is ample parking then there is the clean, cool fresh smelling lobby. The front desk staff are friendly and professional which makes checking in easy. Elevators and hallways are also clean and smell fresh. I had a studio room, this too was clean and also very spacious, well furnished, all the fixtures and fittings were in good working order, good WiFi and a nice selection of TV channels. The bed was very comfortable and comes with a selection of pillows. After a good nights sleep I went down to a delicious breakfast with a huge variety of tasty and well presented food. Lots of hot tasty coffee make this a perfect breakfast. Checking out was just as easy as checking in. This is a perfect hotel with great staff and in a great location, if you are in Tel Aviv and looking for 21st century service then this is the place for you.
Location is great. It’s close enough to the central areas but located near the major highways and close to the airport too. Having Azrieli Center Mall steps away is very nice too.
IHG Spire status got our rooms upgraded to the executive floors and one room access to the lounge. We had to pay for the other room. Lounge was not large but it was never packed and the attendants were all friendly and on top of things.
The front desk was often understaffed, however so there was usually a wait for parking ticket validation or requests.
Speaking of parking, once validated, the nightly rate is 50 shekels (approx $14).
