A Good Choice though a bit Tired
roboSydney

We stayed here for business and a few extra days leisure. The Hotel and staff were very pleasant though the decor is starting to look a bit tired.

Breakfast is very good. The Asian breakfast buffet being much nicer than the Western breakfast buffet and offering just as many Western choices if you want them. Though something strange we have noticed all over Taipei. The food is not served very hot and often just luke warm.

The buffet dinner in the lobby was quite good though do check the pricing. It's confusing at the prominent discounted price when we stayed there, in the smal orint. was only after 8 pm.

Would I stay here again. Yes.

The location is quite convenient and it offers fair value.

The dishes kept on coming during this business banquet.
The food is mainly plated up by one waiting staff member and taken to you, with anything left over put in the centre.
Some of the dishes unusual for our Western palates (deep fried frogs legs, fish heads etc) but we did our best.
Our Taiwanese colleagues loved it all!

Old but still good

A relatively old but good maintained hotel. Large rooms. Very clean. Breakfast buffet just nice. A Chines stile hotel. Have transportation from and to airport. Can use airport MRT to train station and from there taxi very convenient and cost just 300 NT. Walking distance from central shopping streets. Very near to a small but nice night market. In general very good value for money
