La Reserve Geneve Hotel and Spa
What We Love
- The 20- to 30-minute motorboat ride (too short!) from the city, past old lakeside mansions and the famous 460-foot jet d’eau
- The plate of eight different dim sum items at Tsé Fung restaurant
- Individual spa “better aging” programs formulated with the help of the staff doctor, acupuncurist, nutritionist and osteopath
- The cool, sophisticated late evening vibe at Le Bar
- Free WiFi
What To Know
- Occasional noise from the airport and the adjacent highway
- If you want a true lake view, get a room on the top floor
- A poolside bottle of Evian is almost $8, and prices go up from there
- The indoor pool within the spa is off limits to kids under 14, even in winter, but there’s a big playground
- Getting to Geneva from the resort means either a ride in La Réserve’s beautiful little motorboat (from March to October, weather permitting) or a short train ride or drive
- Free WiFi
- Kids Club
- Parking On Site

How to Get There
A recent visit to La Reserve surprised me profoundly. The quality of the service, the beauty of the facilities, the incredibly setting overlooking at the lake, Mont Blanc the gardens and a small marina surrounded by incredibly beautiful pirate homes around the lake make for a unique experience. The Chinese restaurant, the best in Geneva I was told, proved to be a brand new experience in Chinese cuisine. Highly recommended for a sunny, long, lazy lunch.
First time visiting in La Reserve Geneva after my husband was there in winter for business and he kept raving about the hotel. I was excited to experience it and many things are a standout such as the location, the spa, the staff and the cleanliness! I cannot day e ought about the beautiful property with a gorgeous pool and lake area! The boat driver Edwin took us to town and it was a gorgeous and fun journey with him! Also the water Ha ha sweet Caroline was amazing I've taken water classes all over the world and she had some moves I've never seen before and the stretch class with Natalie was so wonderful to start my Sunday morning when it was perfect and it's thoughtful beginning and challenging middle and satisfying end! Concierge was amazing both at night and during the day they helped us organize dinner and transport and when we lost our glasses they went all out to find them!
The one problem we had was the smallness of our room closet - it was way too tiny to accommodate my husband and my clothing and we were disappointed not to have more space to unpack and keep our clothing organized. We complained and were offered another room at an additional $800 per night - way too much.
We did enjoy our stay very much.
On my whole trip, one thing I now regret is not being able to stay here for more than a single night to experience more, because they have so much to offer!
I had booked an Executive Room for a single night, and we had decided to order from the 'Le Loti' menu via room service for the evening.
With a private patio out to a relaxing scene where things were nice and quiet, and being able to enjoy the meal with the door open was quite relaxing.
I also have to say, I very much enjoyed the scents of the soaps, which also is what the hotel smelled of!
The breakfast offering spread was what you would expect in a resort as this, and was filling. Wish I had more time to enjoy it, but had to make a scheduled time at CERN in the morning!
Otherwise, wonderful night, really awesome food delivered, and very quiet/relaxed.
Would very highly recommend for a weekend stay at least!
