La Reserve Geneve Hotel and Spa
What We Love
- The 20- to 30-minute motorboat ride (too short!) from the city, past old lakeside mansions and the famous 460-foot jet d’eau
- The plate of eight different dim sum items at Tsé Fung restaurant
- Individual spa “better aging” programs formulated with the help of the staff doctor, acupuncurist, nutritionist and osteopath
- The cool, sophisticated late evening vibe at Le Bar
- Free WiFi
What To Know
- Occasional noise from the airport and the adjacent highway
- If you want a true lake view, get a room on the top floor
- A poolside bottle of Evian is almost $8, and prices go up from there
- The indoor pool within the spa is off limits to kids under 14, even in winter, but there’s a big playground
- Getting to Geneva from the resort means either a ride in La Réserve’s beautiful little motorboat (from March to October, weather permitting) or a short train ride or drive
- Free WiFi
- Kids Club
- Parking On Site

How to Get There
Being a guest at La Reserve is like coming home to the family. The hotel takes care of its guests like no other and in between arrival and departure there is nothing but the kind of luxurious comfort that draws you in and never let's go of you again. Thank you for all
Very nice place, bit outside town. Best place to choose to stay when weather is nice and warm. Nice garden. Indoor swimming Pool and outdoor.
Book table at Chinese restaurant when you arrive. If the weather is warm is very nice to eat outside.
Beautiful property near the lake and the airport. Extensive grounds make it feel like a reserve. Nice accommodations with terrace overlooking the property. Large outdoor pool area. Nice indoor spa. Interesting African reserve theme. Good French restaurant. Did not eat at the Michelin one Star Chinese restaurant. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Nicely done hotel in a large property with amenities for children. However, while they represent they cater to children, the eating and “hanging-out” areas are not perfect for young children. In the restaurant bar area, where you must go for a meal outside of the scheduled day hours, you’re going to have to live with cigar chomping, martini guzzling, dog biting guests next to your toddlers. The playground in the back is awesome, the pool area unbeatable, and the beach and pier landing most convenient.
I was initially hesitant about staying just outside the City of Geneva for this trip and it is in actuality a hike to the centre of Town. That said, this is a lovely hotel with great service, space and grounds. Our room was very well appointed and comfortable, with views of the Lake. Views are very limited given that the hotel is only two stories in height. It is not an urban oasis like its sister hotel in Paris and not of the same calibre ie more laid back, casual and family friendly. My only criticism is with respect to service at Le Loti. Excellent food, friendly service but oh ever so slow and unresponsive.
