How to Get There
We stayed two non consecutive nights at the d‘Angleterre and were wowed by the service. The concierges in particular were exceptional, proactively offering free transportation passes, assistance with restaurant reservations, and sightseeing tips. Our rooms were classically decorated and super comfortable. And we couldn’t have asked for a better location — right on the lake and a nice 10-min walk to the train station. We high,y recommend this hotel.
Everything about this hotel is fabulous. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is the best. The train station is within walking distance, as well as shops and other attractions. The food was incredible. The restaurant, is beautiful. We ate there multiple times (best dover sole we have ever had!)
My husband and I stayed while visiting our son who is studying in Geneva. We will be back with our other kids for spring break. It's small, but not too small. Just perfect. We really enjoyed our stay!
My stay at Hotel d'Angleterre was memorable and one of the best. Staff were highly devoted in their duties. Individual attention provided to the guests was really appreciated. Readiness to assist was noted in all departments and services. It is a great quality which I have observed at Hotel d'Angleterre.
Rooms are large and comfortable and provide all comfort, bathrooms are fully equipped with all necessary amenities. Housekeeping was outstanding, conciergerie services personalized and speedy, food was excellent and was appreciated by all my guests.
Location is one of the best. Hotel d''Angeleterre will be my choice for future journeys in Geneva.
Special thanks to Mr. Guilbert Clatot for organizing everything professionally.
Cant think of staying in another hotel if i am planning to visit Geneva
I feel at Home , friendly staff and reception , food is the best quality , room cleanliness
Small note ; having celiac disease required strictly gluteen free food , i wish they consider ‘the Night treat ‘at the Bed to be without Gluten
I’ve stayed at many hotels in Geneva and so many are special. However, Red Carnation hotels are at the top of my list. and Hotel d’Angleterre is one of those special experiences. The difference in this group of hotels is the staff, attention to detail, and the overall experience. When I travel it’s airport to hotel and when you find a place where every time you walk into the lobby you are greeted by name and every request you have is fulfilled. Walk along the banks of the Lake which is right across the street. Windows restaurant is the most beautiful place for breakfast or dinner looking at the Lake. Beds, linens are exquisite. Won’t disappoint. And without ever telling them it was my birthday this is what the presented me at breakfast today. Special Place. Bea Tollman you should be proud!
