The Lowdown
Grayshott Health Spa is one of the very few true destination spas in the UK. Unlike at a typical hotel, visits to Grayshott are aimed at improving your health and well-being, with therapeutic treatments, healthy spa cuisine and a full range of fitness classes. Not only was the hotel named the Favorite UK Spa Retreat by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller and given a man's seal of approval in GQ, but it has attracted rave reviews from publications like The Telegraph and The Independent, as well.
In addition to the renowned spa, Grayshott boasts tennis courts, a nine-hole golf course, a cinema, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and acres of protected gardens and orchards. With sweeping lawns adjoining 700 acres of National Trust land, Grayshott Spa promises that sublime get-away-from-it-all feeling. And with rural names like Sheep Grove and Tangle Wood among your surroundings, you know you're in real country territory, so bring your walking boots.

Rooms and suites
Each of the 59 suites and bedrooms are finished to an elegant and comfortable standard, with sumptuous furnishings, luxury fabrics and both modern and traditional textiles. Most of the rooms overlook the gardens and grounds. Upgrade to the Junior suite to enjoy more space, with a separate living area, two TVs and a lavish king-sized bed.
Dining
Your dining experience at Grayshott is all about balance, health and nutrition. The retreat's executive chef and dietician have worked together to create delicious menus within the parameters of healthy eating and balanced nutrition. Gone are the days when a "spa diet" involved fasting or bland food. Here, you can benefit from a carefully balanced diet while still enjoying delicious cuisine. If you're really serious about watching what you eat, you can book a nutritional consultation with one of the in-house nutritionists, who will create a dietary plan for you to use and take home.

Grayshott has spent more than 40 years perfecting its holistic approach to natural therapy, relaxation, exercise and nutrition to create a unique, stress-releasing environment, earning it a world-wide reputation for the quality of its therapies and treatments. The atmosphere here is relaxed, and the dress code casual – lounging in your robe and slippers is encouraged.Facilities at Grayshott include a twinkly steam room, a sauna, a hydrotherapy pool, a cold plunge pool and two swimming pools – one indoor, one outdoor (open April to September only). There's also a cozy relaxation room, comfortable changing facilities and individual treatment rooms. It's worth noting that the facilities are divided into male and female areas.
Location
Just one hour from London, Grayshott's rural Surrey location also places it close to pretty Farnham – think gorgeous little main street and nice pubs – and the enormous South Downs National Park.
