Suites and villas
Suites and villas here are expansive, each with its own outdoor Jacuzzi or private infinity pool. They offer a relaxed atmosphere and design, with warm wood and walls tiled with natural stone, all kept cool with a ceiling fan and air conditioning. Each comes with a sheltered patio and spacious bathrooms with lovely, large tubs and separate rain showers.Jacuzzi suites feature a large bedroom and outdoor patio apiece, while Jacuzzi villas are the same size, but detached, with a slatted ceiling and garden views. In the Sea Front Pool villa, you get unobstructed ocean views, dining and sunning decks, a private lawn and a separate living room.

Warm up your muscles with a session in the resort’s fully equipped fitness center. For something less strenuous, step into the Sarann Spa – try the full-body Thai massage, or one of the spa’s traditional treatments.
The hotel is close to the island’s dining and nightlife area. Transportation can be arranged to various landmarks – or, simply take a tuk tuk to the nearby nightlife area: a whole street full of pubs and street-food spots.
How to Get There
Situated in Chaweng Noi, south of the busy and noisy Chaweng, this hotel is well situated at the end of a long beach. An infinity pool gives wonderful views over the ocean, as does the restaurant where you can dine on the copious buffet breakfast in peace. The rooms were extremely spacious and well equipped.
Staff are welcoming, and we took full advantage of the booking services onsite, including the scooters (very handy for getting around).
We asked about an upgrade after our first night, as the noise from the road was really not to our liking. We were offered an oceanfront suite at a cost, which we turned down and decided to buy earplugs. The manager however decided to offer us an upgrade to a jacuzzi suite, on the 2nd row of rooms, basically removing all traffic noise! The jacuzzi was put to good use and we had a wonderful end of stay! :-)
We had a pool villa and it was spectacular! We hardly ever left our room other than to walk on the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. The front desk can help you to arrange a taxi into town for around 300 Baht. Across the street is a money exchange and a store to buy beer, water, sunscreen, etc.
My fiancé and I stayed here and thought it was really good. The staff are super friendly. The room was massive with a large round bath inside and a spa bath on the private balcony. Massive bed and shower. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean and is stunning. They also have cozy bean bags also over looking the ocean. The food was pricy but no different to other resorts. You could always be guaranteed for great tasting food. We booked a scooter from here and it was very well priced and served us well.
The only thing we found a little hard was that the beach was hard to access especially on high tide. Other than that we loved it and would
Just spent 2 weeks at the Sarann with my Hubby.
on the whole a very good experience. I have to say the team are absolutely excellent..some of the nicest of anywhere we have stayed. A lovely welcome from the duty manager, she was very helpful. All of the staff from managers to room maids to catering staff just can't do enough and aim to make your stay as lovely as possible. Would like to give a special mention to the Jin and Wat who run the restaurant who were just fabulous and made our stay really special. Thank you.
I would def recommend the Sarann although i would say to the owners please invest in re decorating and updating in some areas as it is a little tired and shabby in places, if not the this fact I would have scored a 5 ..so really worth doing the work needed.
Everything was really perfect at the Sarann. The staff was really lovely and the room (ours was in front of the sea) was really charming. Breakfast and food at the restaurant was awesome.
The only thing you should know is that they don't have a big swimming pool and chairs, nor an access to a private beach. So, not ideal if you plan to stay at the pool all day long. Especially, because in January, there isn't much sun on that side. So the swimming pool (even our private pool) were in the shade most of the time.
Regarding the location, it is really South of Chaweng, but this was not w big deal as you can easily walk up the beach and enjoy the view and nice bars/restaurants on the way.
We loved it and would definitely recommend it.
We would also like to thank the whole staff who made our stay unforgettable.
