How to Get There
Have stayed here with my wife in August. This hotel is not up to a five star standard. Reservations team is unprofessional and rude. The reception team was arrogant and racist to my wife. Room moves were poorly managed. Very disappointing restaurant experience at the Japanese restaurant. Very limited offer, bad quality sushi and extremely poor service. Two times we got spoiled red wine served. The waiter showed us a label on the opened wine bottle with a date of 3rd August (our dinner was on 11th) and tried to explain us that it is still good. What a shame! To talk to manager was rejected several times during our stay. I could write so much more, but this would not bring back our vacation and time. By who is this resort managed... no one at all was visible!
One lady in red (hostess) at breakfast was standing out as very warm, efficient and professional.
Best ever. Loved every day. The staff were awesome and very friendly. The villa was second to none, and the resort was the most beautiful we have ever stayed in. I would recommend this resort to everyone.
We made reservations at Buri Rasa but when we walked in there the feeling wasn’t right and we decided to change to Anantara. And from the moment of checking in we were happy about our choice.
At hotels in this range we expect a high standard in general and Anantara matched our expectations.
Wonderful grounds, pool, restaurants and a beach with enough sunbeds which are set up very spacious. The hotel offers kayaks and SUP boards. We didn’t check out yet so I don’t know if there is a fee involved or not but it is very nice to use them to paddle to one of the nearby other beaches.
Our room was big enough for the three of us and was very comfortable.
The SPA is very good and offers Yoga and great massages. Our son of six became a regular for the 30 minute massage they offer for kids.
All staf at Anantara was truly nice. Staf at the reception, the restaurant and the Spa in particular.
It looks like staf is enjoying their job in this hotel which has a positive reflection on the guests.
Friendly reception, we felt very welcome. Nice transfer with speedboat. Very nice villa on the beach. Nice furniture, open bathroom. Clean. Very nice and friendly staff. Excellent Dining in the Japanese restaurant and wonderful and excellent dining experience on the beach. Check out perfect and short.
The hotel is on the most beautiful beach on the island. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location gives you easy access to a village with a wide range of restaurants and facilities. The pool area could do with reconfiguring but it's a minor issue given the beauty of the location.
