What We Love
- A stylish waterside stay in the Swedish capital, with breakfast, a glass of cava and more Enjoying a glass of wine on the tranquil waterfront
- Soothing rooms that take influence from the natural beauty all around
- The best of both worlds – close to the centre of Stockholm but still located in a pleasantly peaceful area
There are two things that Scandinavian style powerhouse Stockholm does very well; one is effortlessly understated cool and the other is water. Made up of 14 islands connected by no less than 57 bridges, you’ll be seeing plenty of both during your stay at the Villa Kallhagan, which can be found nestled on the tranquil canal-side of pretty Djurgarden. Whilst this boutique hotel lies a mere ten minutes from the energetic throb of the central city, a stay here feels rooted in much slower pace of life. Getting away from it all is more than possible here – in fact, it’s mandatory.
Because relaxation is very much at the forefront of Villa Kallhagan’s agenda. A soothing natural environment of abundant nature and wildlife is reflected in the hotel’s design choices; rooms boast elegant colour schemes and large skylights that allow all that fabulous Swedish light to flood in. A well-regarded restaurant and thoughtful touches, like pampering Molton Brown bathroom products and a complimentary minibar, complete the indulgent experience.
How to Get There
We were ever so well looked after at the hotel, fantastic receptionist and the food was top class. We will very likely stay again next time we are in town for business. Our quite boisterous 2 and 3 year olds were made to feel entirely welcome.
Nice personal, clean rooms, quiet location and very good spot. Perfect for business and family escape. I will come back for sure for my next trip. Thank you for the good reception. Greetings from Portugal.
Everything was perfect. I have been in Källhagen many times and each time is different in every way. It's the best place if You want to run away from city noise and You don't have to run far away. It's just "behind the corner" :)
