What We Love
- Pretty people and stellar drinks at The Gold Bar
- The central location on a lovely town square makes accessing the city a breeze
- The lobby coffee bar, a classic slice of European café culture
- Sleek and immaculately furnished, the rooms are big, bright and achingly hip
- Hotel concierges are resourceful and efficient
What To Know
- The hot-spot bar gets busy on weekends; request a room on a high floor or facing the square for a bit more peace and quiet
- No spa, but the hotel can organize treatments at nearby spas
- The in-house restaurant, Caina, is in the basement and not the most picturesque
- Stockholm is expensive; skip the cab from the airport and opt for the train – it’s faster and drops you a 10-minute walk from the hotel
- Free WiFi
- Parking On Site

How to Get There
We stayed here for two nights and had a very good experience. This hotel, a Marriott family hotel, is situated within walking distance of the Old Town area. The room we stayed in was really nicely appointed and very clean. The staff was extremely friendy and helpful (in particular Jonathon). The lobby and lounges are very nice. Breakfast was also included with our stay and it was wonderful. Highly recommended.
Staying in Nobis hotel was one of the best experiences during our first visit to Stockholm. Beautiful building like from a fairytale, very welcoming staff, cosy room with fantastic amenities. What a breakfast - everything is so fresh and delicious, wonderful coffee. Due to Nobel prize week we couldn't find a restaurant and luckily came back to hotel's restaurant NOI. The food was soo good, that we wanted to come back the next day, but it was closed for Sunday (and Monday).
So we enjoyed the local bistro which is amazing as well.
Next trip to Stockholm definitely to Nobis!
This is a gorgeous hotel in a great spot right in the middle of everything.
Impressive breakfast buffet.
Smart, modern rooms (if a little on the compact side).
I love the smell of the scented candles when you walk in, it’s like an instant warm fuzzy feeling.
2 nights stay with friends for shopping and fun in Stockholm. Well appointed room, but very small. Extremely annoying noise from water dripping on the window sill outside our 6th floor room. When the lobby lounge/bar closes there is hardly any place for hotel guests to sit and relax. Stayed for points, so breakfast was not included, which I find to be a bad policy towards loyal customers (I must be close to 300 nights in SPG hotels now). Anyhow, because of the location I would probably stay here again.
I have stayed in most high end hotels in Stockholm and Nobis is a clear favorite. The staff is always polite, professional and very service minded. The rooms are super nice and the free wifi has the highest bandwidth (in the 100s (Mbit) both up and down) that I have ever experienced in a hotel! And last but not least the closest hotel to our Stockholm office on Birger Jarls gatan which is just a 2 minute walk away. Just love it!
