What We Love
- Pretty people and stellar drinks at The Gold Bar
- The central location on a lovely town square makes accessing the city a breeze
- The lobby coffee bar, a classic slice of European café culture
- Sleek and immaculately furnished, the rooms are big, bright and achingly hip
- Hotel concierges are resourceful and efficient
What To Know
- The hot-spot bar gets busy on weekends; request a room on a high floor or facing the square for a bit more peace and quiet
- No spa, but the hotel can organize treatments at nearby spas
- The in-house restaurant, Caina, is in the basement and not the most picturesque
- Stockholm is expensive; skip the cab from the airport and opt for the train – it’s faster and drops you a 10-minute walk from the hotel
- Free WiFi
- Handicap Accessible
- Parking On Site

How to Get There
I was supposed to go on this trip with a girlfriend but she couldn't go. I didn't prepare at all for this trip and did some last minute research literally before I hopped on my flight. Sweden is beautiful but visiting Sweden while staying at the Nobis is a first-class-all-the-way experience. The hotel is gorgeous and has impeccable amenities such as the buffet breakfast, room service and lounge. Really, there's no need to leave the hotel unless you really want to see the sights lol. The hotel is surrounding with high end shops, gourmet restaurants and most major attractions for that area. I was a 5-minute walk away from the Palace which is packed with little shops and the Nobel Prize Museum. Public transportation including a trolley that stops directly in front of the hotel is convenient to use and cost effective is you purchase a 3 or 7-day pass. The STAFF is wonderful and offered up so many details and assistance. I'm glad I didn't prepare because I was surprised at what I found and will never forget it. I'll be back Nobis :)
We used Marriott reward points and also got upgraded room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had breakfast buffet which was a decent value. Location is near palace and Old Town. Decor is modern Scandinavian in older 1800s building.
Stayed here for a couple of nights before picking up a cruise in Stockholm. The hotel is beautiful, I was greeted and check-in service was excellent. The room, while small, was nice appointed with all that one would need. The gym was also really nice with lots of equipment and a large shower, sauna and steam area. Breakfast and meals at the restaurant were also good.
The location was perfect, close to the Old Town, shopping and anything that you’d need. The reason I’m giving four stars is because of the night club that’s close by, I could hear the beat from the music on Friday and Saturday night. Not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but a warning or something would have been nice because I may have requested a different type of room, away from the music.
Would still stay here again, but will be mindful of the noise from the nightclub on the weekends.
