What We Love
- Pretty people and stellar drinks at The Gold Bar
- The central location on a lovely town square makes accessing the city a breeze
- The lobby coffee bar, a classic slice of European café culture
- Sleek and immaculately furnished, the rooms are big, bright and achingly hip
- Hotel concierges are resourceful and efficient
What To Know
- The hot-spot bar gets busy on weekends; request a room on a high floor or facing the square for a bit more peace and quiet
- No spa, but the hotel can organize treatments at nearby spas
- The in-house restaurant, Caina, is in the basement and not the most picturesque
- Stockholm is expensive; skip the cab from the airport and opt for the train – it’s faster and drops you a 10-minute walk from the hotel
- Free WiFi
- Parking On Site

How to Get There
Great service at the Nobis. Very efficient check-in/check-out process. Location is excellent. Rooms are clean and do the job for a business trip. However, nothing really stood out in the room and some modernization would have been nice. Noise levels are above average as music could still be heard in spite of all windows/doors being closed. Gym is small, but equipment quality is high. Breakfast is good (good variety of juices) yet food variety was limited. Overall, we had a good experience at the Nobis but it lacked the final touch that would make you want to come back.
We enjoyed our stay at the nobis hotel for 3 nights. It is in an excellent location for going to the different parts of Stockholm. The rooms are very similar to the W. The front desk provided excellent recommendations for dinner. Overall, it was a great stay. This would be an excellent hotel for business or tourism.
Staying at the Nobis, makes you feel at home and relaxed. The impressive lounge with its 29meter ceiling height is cozy and great place to chill out. They have lots of cool books to leaf thru. A DJ sets the atmosphere right at night.
Was too tired to go anywhere the last night. Ended up eating at the restaurant on the first floor. Easy and laid back with good food. Lots of good wines to choose from.
Service all over is professional and always available.
Nobis is a great hotel in so many levels- Location, the staff, room and service.
I have been a returning customer over 4 years now and i simply love everything about it.
The staff are very nice and accommodating. They make you feel welcome.
Getting there. We flew into Arlanda Airport T2 and outside the main doors at the bus stop we got onto bus 583 to Marsta Station, which was about a 15-minute ride. Then we got onto a commuter train to Stockholm Central. This took about 40 minutes. At the Central Station go outside and onto the flyover where you will see a tram end of line stop. There is only one tram line in Stockholm, so you cannot go wrong. The hotel is at the first open square on the left side, about a 10-minute journey. There is a stop just before and just after the hotel. In fact, there is a tram stop right outside the hotel, but this only runs at the weekend and is mainly a tourist tram where you can sit down and have tea and cake going on a circular circuit.
The reception staff are very helpful and friendly. A down side is that there a around seven steps to walk up to get into the hotel, although I guess you can summon help with a suitcase from staff inside. We were on the top floor which meant using a very slow-going lift, very slow to arrive and slow moving. We asked for a quiet room and it was very quiet over looking an inner square of the hotel. The view was of other rooms, but at least it was quiet from the outside city noise. The front rooms over-look a bar / restaurant which has outside music blaring away until late.
Our standard room was poky but adequate in size, to get a bit more space and light I would walk into the quite spacious bathroom. Oh, on bath, just a very nice large shower. The room lighting was dim, and there was not enough space to put our things. I would like to see two bedside tables with draws and a shelf available, and a taller wardrobe to allow more things to be put away. One side of our double bed had a white dome top box which lights up inside, totally useless for putting drinks onto. Two proper bedside cabinets should be in place here. The bed was very comfortable, although we did have to ask for two extra pillows. These arrived very quickly, and praise must go to house keeping for their quick service. The room had air con, a mini bar, large TV and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was basic continental style, which was acceptable, but nothing to rave about.
The very nice thing about this hotel is that it is easy to get to and is right in the middle of the tourist area, and was safe and clean. Our room was the standard small double room you come across from time to time, but darkly lit.
