Get to know the lifestyle phenomena of hygge (cosiness) and lagom (not too little, not too much) firsthand on a trip to one of Scandinavia’s coolest capitals: stylish Stockholm. This laid-back city is home to magnificent museums, impressive palaces and, of course, an ode to ABBA (you can perform your own tribute at the city’s interactive exhibition). The terracotta roofs and surrounding azure waters give the city a Mediterranean feel, further enhanced by its boat connections to its surrounding 30,000 islands.
Stockholm’s sights are within easy reach of the perfectly placed Elite Hotel Adlon. Start your day with a delicious breakfast spread before discovering the shabby-chic streets of Gamla Stan and the colourful waterfront promenades of this most chic of cities. The boutique-filled shopping street of Drottninggatan is just three minutes’ walk away, while the Old Town and Royal Palace can be reached in a little over 10 minutes. End the day sipping on a cocktail at the retro-inspired hotel’s restaurant bar before hitting the hay in your cool Scandi-style guestroom.
How to Get There
Perfect location near T-Centralen, comfortable room, very nice people at the desk and everywhre else, great breakfast, everything was just fin for these days we spent at Elite Hotel Adlon, I highly recommend this hotel
Stayed here for 2 nights on business.
Hotel set on main road, very central location. Initial issue as was given a room that still had people in it, but rectified quickly.
Hotel rooms were OK, good shower. Room backed on to the central yard, and woken very early in morning when bins were collected.
Breakfast was of a very high quality.
I had to sleep here for one night. I had a room on the first floor at the mainstream. The bar below this room was playing live music (at 17 hours) inside, but with speakers hanging outside. I could hear very word they was sung eventhough I closed my window. We left for diner and drinks and when we came back at 23:00 hours the music just ended. So I hoped on a quite night, and openend the window. But there was roadworks going on all night so I had to close the window, use my earplugs and sleep in a hot room. (No airco just heating). So not a good night. Shower was oke. Breakfast was oke, but part of the breakfastarea smelled like a burgerplace with bad burned burgers. For this amount of money not to be advised. Location is alright but still.
