Elite Eden Park is a sleek and stylish hotel overlooking Humlegården Park in Stockholm’s exclusive Östermalm district. Luxury facilities, first-class service and cool, contemporary interiors make it the perfect base for a sightseeing-packed getaway or even a romantic escape (it did nab a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards as a top hotel in Sweden for romance). It’s got two great restaurants to try, and you’re just a stone’s throw from some of Stockholm’s best eats and bars at Stureplan, a hip and high-end square that attracts the city’s most fashionable characters.
Head south from the hotel, and you’ll reach the Strandvägen, a pretty waterfront street lined with some of Stockholm’s grandest old palaces and houses. Just along the harbor is the old town (or Gamla Stan), which is made up of Stadholmen island and three other islets, filled with winding, cobblestone streets and fascinating 13th-century architecture. When all that waterside walking piques your interest, we recommend taking a boat tour of the achingly beautiful Stockholm archipelago, or for more nautical knowledge, try the excellent Vasa ship museum – it’s home to one of the best preserved shipwrecks in the world.
How to Get There
Just finished a 3 night stay at the Elite Eden Park Hotel in Stockholm. The hotel is across the street from a beautiful park, and a 2 block walk to the center of Stureplan where a lot of posh shops and restaurants are. A few blocks more and you are at the water front and can get on the hop-on/hop-off boat to the different museums and sites. The hotel is modern, nice rooms, lots of electric outlets. Our room faced the park and it was a nice view, but also was probably quieter than if you stayed in a busier location. The staff was fantastic and friendly! A hello and welcome every time we walked in, a good bye or offer of assistance on our way out. And the breakfast was fantastic. We'd eat in the morning and then nothing until dinner. Lots of fruit and veggies (as a non-meat eater, I appreciate this).
We stayed at the Elite Eden Park hotel for five days this month and we were very happy with the accommodations. The room was large and comfortable. I especially appreciated the fluffy towels in the bathroom and the heated towel rack!!
The hotel’s location is just a little out of the way from most of the tourist attractions but it was an easy walk to the “hop on hop off boat” and there is a bus stop very near by.
The breakfast included lots of fresh fruit, breads, eggs, cereal, smoked salmon, cheeses and more.
The staff was very friendly and helpful
From the minute we arrived at the beautiful hotel to the minute we left, the staff at the Elite Eden Park Hotel went out of their way to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. Alma, a new trainee, promised us sight-seeing information and when we came back from dinner it was there for us. She called restaurants to get menus. All of the reception personnel were so friendly and personable. We had to leave before breakfast for our flight home and the staff made sure that we each had a breakfast bag to take with us. The hotel is right across the street from a beautiful park in a vibrant part of Stockholm. It offers a wonderful breakfast with your room. It also has a gym and sauna. The rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. We were so happy that we found this gem of a hotel in Stockholm and that we got to meet such lovely people as well.
I was in a cruise ship, I emailed the hotel to book a taxi for me from Frihamen port to the hotel, the reception helped to book my taxi. I was able to take the booked taxi from port to hotel. Well located hotel, near the city center, but the music from the bar, was pounding away from 4pm till midnight, so it was difficult to rest. They also helped to book a cab. Next day to the Arlanda airport. I arrived early around 10am, no room was available till 3pm, eventually, I got a room at 2pm. The staff, tried their best to assist the guests, I would recommend others to stay there. Good location, helpful staff. Thank you, Eden Park Hotel.
Clean and spacious room, quiet hotel located next to a park. Very good breakfast, really enjoyed it. Expensive neighborhood (Östermalm), lots of restaurants/shops nearby. Old town reachable within foot distance. Also Central station (around 15-20 min walking). Expensive, but this Stockholm.
